**I DO NOT TAKE DOGS THAT ARE NOT GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS Growing up we had a wide range of dogs, from large breeds like German Shepherds, Dobermans, an Old English Sheepdog, Huskies to miniature Dachshunds, so I’m very comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Honestly the Huskies prepare you for anything. I’ve also fostered and cared for cats with complex medical needs like FIV, renal failure, and allergies, which taught me how to administer medication reliably and recognize subtle signs of distress. *if injected medications are needed my EMS trained partner will be the one operating the syringe.

I cannot speak highly enough of Darlayna! She went above and beyond to take amazing care of our two cats and our home while we were away. She was in constant communication about how things were going and sent multiple pictures and videos every day, which we loved. She was extremely attentive to the cats' needs and any changes in their behavior, helping to make sure they were safe and comfortable. She was also kind enough to send us updates and help troubleshoot things going on at the house. I highly recommend her services and plan on hiring her every time we're away.
Darlayna was really terrific. Clearly knowledgeable about dogs and also clearly loves dogs. Sammie had a great time! He played with the other dogs, met a new favorite friend, and came home exhausted. Huge thank you to Darlayna and her partner for the care and attention for our sweet boy Sammie.
Darlayna seemed to connect with Gus right away and get his personality. She sent tons of pictures and videos and communicated promptly throughout his stay. He came home exhausted and seemingly very happy to have been away from us all weekend!! He's now going to see her for doggy day-care and we absolutely feel very comfortable recommending Darlayna and having Gus go for longer stays in the future.
Darlayna is a wonderful sitter. My experience was consistent with all her other reviews. She is flexible and timely. Most importantly, she cares very much about the animals that she sits. They all seem to have a wonderful time in her care. She sends plenty of photos as evidence.
Darlayna was fantastic. Kept me updated, took great care of my dog. Honestly he probably didn’t want to come home. Will use again.

Schedule
I rarely let myself take a day off so unless I’m on vacation, everything I do is planned around the dogs I’m caring for.

Boarding/Daycare My home is well-equipped with a fully fenced backyard, a large separate fenced off kennel space with two dog houses, and multiple crate sizes if you need them crated at bedtime. I feed all dogs separate from one another behind baby gates in different rooms. We only give the pups filtered water from our brita pitcher. Drop ins/Walks I feel weird being in peoples houses so I will not touch or open any drawers/doors I was not given explicit instructions to. For walks I aim to get the dog leashed up and out the door in under a minute.
A typical day
I’m located right next to Ravenna Park and Dahl Playfields, and conveniently situated between Magnuson and Greenlake Parks. There are plenty of great areas in my neighborhood to keep your dog entertained! My boyfriend and I bring all the dogs along when we run errands, grab food, or go anywhere dogs are welcome.
