I spend about 80% of the year living in my clients' homes to provide the proper care for their pets, and this includes travel sitting. I am based in the Austin, TX area, but I will travel anywhere within the U.S. to housesit for my clients. Outside of Austin, I can most often be found in Asheville, NC and Phoenix, AZ. I'm currently looking for new clients in new areas! How it works: The day before you depart, I will fly in to your city from Austin, TX to meet your pets and go over all the details of the sit. I can drive you to your local airport for your departure. While you're gone, I'll follow your routine for your pet and send you photo updates. Upon your return, I can pick you up from the airport, or simply drop your car off there, and depart. You'll pay my nightly rate, plus the cheapest available flight for the dates you select. ***Additional pricing details*** I will accept any animal except horses. Any animals other than dogs and cats, such as farm animals, will receive a special, custom rate after meet & greet, based on many factors including labor and time. ATTN: Parents of special needs pets - I understand that every pet has his/her own needs. To ensure proper care, I will evaluate your pet at the meet & greet. Depending on your pet's unique situation, they may be subject to the puppy rate (See chart above).

Safety, trust & environment
I highly appreciate full disclosure from potential clients regarding the safety of their pets and their home. If there are any concerns for the safety of your pet, such as a broken fence, history of anxious behavior, history of aggression, or if your pet an escape artist, I will readily ensure that all precautions are taken.

Loved Darla. Will definitely book again. She came to the house with a mask. Took good care of my pets. Good communication. At the initial visit, I told her we did not know how long it was going to take to drive back and that our arrival date was flexible. When she thought we were arriving earlier than expected, she refunded the unused dates. She promptly returned the house key.
Darla is awesome. Very reliable, our fur babies love her. 4th time we've booked her.
As always Darla took such wonderful care of my kitty Oreo. I highly praise and recommend her for job well done and responsibility.

Schedule
I'm a professional housesitter, so pet care is my full-time job. I currently only provide housesitting services, so I mostly only go out for errands and recreation. If the dogs are up for it, I like to take them out on short hikes during the day and enjoy some playtime in the evening before we wind down for the night.
