If your dog likes walking, I'm happy to get my steps in along side them. If fetch or tug-of-war is their favorites, that's what we'll do. If they're a couch potato, then they'll get plenty of belly rubs!! Whatever it takes to make them happy.

I've never, ever met a dog I didn't like (love, actually). I'm extremely honest and dependable. I'm retired and have plenty of extra time to devote to caring for your dog(s). In the past, I've owned a very high maintenance, senior dog, so I'm used to medicating and providing special attention, when needed. It would be my pleasure to care for your dog(s) and love on them while you're away. I've owned and cared for dogs my entire life and I'm extremely vigilant about keeping them safe and secure. I have lots of availability and look forward to meeting with you and your dogs to see if we're a good match for one another. "Dogs' lives are too short. Their only fault, really." Darla and her husband, John were AWESOME with Chevy Jo and Bandit! It was Bandit's first time boarding and they took great care of them. Darla sent videos and pictures and shared stories of their day. Darla was careful to follow care and feeding instructions. The pups loved their time at Darla's! They loved playtime in their good-size yard and they can't wait to be back! I highly recommend Darla for boarding and daycare. She is exceptional with dogs!
What a STAR. 🌟 Darla is the real deal. She is reliable, a great communicator, and most importantly genuine in her love for dogs. I recently began a full time job and have been searching high and low for someone to do a drop in & dog walk a few times a week - to no avail - and thank the heavens - because then we wouldn’t have met Darla. Among many things, Darla is thorough, compassionate, and is flexible. She is happy to make any reasonable adjustments or accommodations when caring for your pets. One of ours has been struggling with some angst and anxiety during the day - but having Darla come has turned that around quickly. Our once inconsolable girl is now the first to curl up for a nap whenever we leave the house. I knew from day one that I’d never have to worry about my two with her. She may be new to us and our dogs but we view her as an extension of ourselves, and I may be a bit of a nut - but I hear the dogs think so too. 😉
Thank you so much for caring for our dogs while we were away! These dogs are most comfortable when they are at home so I appreciate you coming to our house a 2x a day. I will definitely contact you again!
Darla was the most caring, thoughtful dog sitter we have ever had! She sent us pictures of our pup every day and gave us little updates about him. You can tell her and her husband are truly dog lovers. Will not be using anyone else besides her when I need a sitter again. I highly recommend booking her!
