A typical day
I love playing fetch, and walks in your neighborhood. Dogs and cats are usually happiest when having fun (just like us humans). Relaxation, cuddles and downtime is important for them also.

Hi there you awesome pet owner and if you are new to Rover, welcome! I service Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, and most of the Phoenix area. Please read this in its entirety before contacting me and be prepared for a meet and greet so that we can discuss your pet/housesitting needs. I would like to get to know you and your fur-baby. If there will be more than one person in the meeting please ensure they have read this and looked over the rates/policies. My rates reflect my many years of experience, maturity, reliability, and commitment to your pets and respect for your home. One of the amazing traits of dogs and cats is that they remind us to slow down and enjoy the moment as well as to laugh and not take life quite so seriously! I feel very blessed and grateful that I am able to be a full-time pet-sitter. I have experienced all sizes, types, and temperaments of dogs and cats, and have even taken care of birds, chickens, lizards and rabbits. While I am sitting for you I stay in the home except to go to the store, run an errand, etc. I do not take care of numerous other dogs or cats while I am sitting for yours and I do not have a job that requires I be away during the day. Your fur baby and your peace of mind is my priority. About me: I have over 25 years of experience taking care of dogs and cats. I fell in love with animals as a young girl and that respect and appreciation for them has only grown over the years. I have also been the photographer and volunteer for various charity events including the amazing Best Friends of Animals Society. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and was working in the corporate world for many years. I am semi-retired now and have a part-time creative business that I fit in when I can and do the work from home. I have also written a book that is on Amazon for pet sitters. About my stay: Your dogs will have frequent bathroom breaks, walks, snuggles, tummy rubs and playtime in and outside. For cats, the litter will be cleaned as needed and your instructions will be followed with regard to food, any medications, and playtime. Your home will be kept clean and treated with the utmost care. I can also water plants, bring in mail, provide waste removal in the yard, and take trash bins out if needed. If there are more specific tasks, such as giving medication or taking your pet to the groomer or vet, we can discuss those in the meeting. I do try to go above and beyond for my clients! (Please note: I have a 2 night minimum for house sitting). My contact hours are 9 AM - 8 PM for your request and to set-up our meet and greet, I do respond ASAP. I look very forward to meeting you and your fur baby!

If you get the opportunity to have her care for & love on your fur babies don’t let her get away!!! She will not disappoint you. At our Meet & Greet her calm demeanor, loving nature & professionalism won us over. My Standard Poodle Liz wouldn’t leave her side! Darion sat overnight for Liz in our home. She took care of both as if they were her own with the utmost love, care & respect. She sent just the right amount of regular updates & photos related to Liz and also let me know when she completed tasks around the house. All of this gave me peace of mind. This is not a side job for Darion. She is committed to the job of caring for your pet & she sincerely loves what she does. She not only spoiled my dog but she spoiled me! I will be checking her schedule before planning my next trip. I hope I never have to settle for another sitter. When I returned Liz was happy to see me but I could tell she missed Darion, her new friend.

Darion is the dog whisperer. We have a big 90 lb mixed breed rescue who is reactive but can be incredibly sweet once he is comfortable. We have spent lots on therapy and worked hard on training. He warmed up to Darion immediately and they had a great time. We can't tell you how grateful we are to you. We are new to Scottsdale and being able to find someone who speaks this dog's language is really really hard. Thank you for your wonderful care and great communication while we were away.
We booked Darion on short notice. She was very accommodating and did drop-ins for us twice. Both times she showed up on time and followed instructions for our elderly cat. We felt really comfortable with her and will definitely use her services again soon and recommend her to our neighbors.
