A lake vacation for your dog!
I've cared for and had a relationship with dogs since I was 3 years old. I have had 4 dogs of varying breeds and sizes and have dog sat for several friends and family. I live on an acre of lakefront property 45 min from Edmonton with lots of space for dogs to run, play and swim. Give your dog a lake vaction where they'll be treated like a member of the family while you're away!

Darin looked after Pekoe for me, and honestly, he's just one of those people who naturally gets dogs. He was incredibly thoughtful about following her routine and all the little instructions that matter to a pet owner. At the same time, he made sure she wasn't just cared for, but genuinely enjoying herself. Every update reassured me that she was happy, engaged, and getting lots of attention. As a dog owner, that's exactly what you hope for when leaving your pet with someone else. I would recommend him without hesitation!
Darin was absolutely fantastic with Abbath! They got to spend quality time with each other for a little over a week. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such great hands. Darin was reliable, attentive, and clearly took the time to make sure Abbath was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. The updates were great — including the very important reports that the woods had been thoroughly checked for all the good smells. 😂 Abbath clearly had an excellent time exploring, sniffing, and adventuring with his new buddy. It’s obvious Darin genuinely enjoys spending time with dogs, and I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to have him look after Abbath again. Highly recommend!
I am so grateful for the wonderful care Darin gave my two elderly Labs while I was away. He treated them with so much love, patience, and attention—walking them, giving their supplements, and making sure they were happy, comfortable, and safe. It meant so much to me knowing my fur babies were in such caring hands. I came home to two very happy dogs! I highly recommend Darin to anyone needing that extra reassurance that they’re dogs will be well cared for and loved while you’re away. ❤️🐾

Schedule
I am semi-retired and home 24/7 to care and spend time with your pet. I am active and outside most of the time happy to play fetch and let your pet explore nature in a quiet rural setting.

I have a treed, unfenced yard in a very quiet area with little road traffic and lots of room for your pet to run and swim in the lake if desired. Your dog will become a member of the family while staying with me. I live alone in a home where dogs are allowed on the furniture, but I can also easily accomodate a crate if your pet prefers.
A typical day
I love to stimulate your dog physically and mentally, they can be outside often exploring the smells of the lake and woods surrounding the property. We will play games and they will receive plenty of praise and affection.
