I care for my dog daily: every morning we go for a run together and I often spend the evenings taking him out to play in our yard. I love to be active in the morning before the sun is up and am highly conscious of my dogs needs throughout the day.

In clients homes I strive to give their pets the same standards and routines they are used to. I will always ask for as many details as possible in order to make sure they are comfortable and feel safe with me. I am laid back and comfortable providing specialized care whenever needed. Because I’ve spent most of my life with animals, I am highly observant and will notice when behavior or mannerisms appear abnormal, so you can trust I will always communicate and update clients on their pets health.

I would like to know dietary restrictions and at what intervals the dog is fed throughout the day. Also, please inform me if they are permitted to play with other dogs will help if dog is being taken to parks or on the trail. Any additional activities that they enjoy are great for me to know as well!
A typical day
I can take dogs walking or running wherever is convenient. If located in town, we can walk in the neighborhood or I can drive to a trail or bike path. I will gladly participate in ball games, frisbee, running, or even swimming.

Pet care experience
I am a highly active person, I run daily and regularly work out at home. I have lived with and cared for multiple dogs over my life and have experience with both young energetic dogs and older dogs. I have a vehicle and would love to take dogs to the park or trail depending on their exercise needs. I can also provide grooming or bathing for any dog if necessary and will gladly care for dogs with special needs or dietary restrictions. I am currently a masters student at the University of Arizona and will be attending classes Monday-Friday with availability to care for pets in the afternoons or evenings. My schedule is flexible on weekends and I will be available for overnight stays or morning activities as arranged.

Darien has been caring for animals since she was a young child. She has cared for and loved her horse since she was 10 years old. She has experience with dogs, cats, alpacas, rabbits, and reptiles and takes care of every creature as if they were the most important creature on earth. Darien has volunteered with PACC, as well as a wildlife rehabilitation organization. Darien is smart, punctual, intuitive, and organized. You would be able to trust that your pet would be in careful and loving hands with Darien. She might even draw a very cute picture of them as well, since she is an amazing animal artist!
Darien has a natural rapport with virtually all animals. She's been best friend to many dogs,cats, horses, rabbits and chickens, and she's also nurttured baby owls, healed injured hawks and sick alpacas. Injured animals seem to trust her innately, and lazy old mutts perk up to play with her. Animals love her because she loves them all!
Darien is the person you want to care for your best furry friends. She has cared for alpacas, horses, rabbits, dogs, and wildlife with equal concern and passion. She even saves earthworms, beetles and snails from harm's way. A more caring and responsible person you will not find. You will love her and trust that she is taking care of everything.
