With 1st of June 2026 I will be jobhunting for full-time positions in my field, however during that I reeaaly want to go back to pet care as I miss and long for contact with animals ♥

I am very calm in the companion of pets and I love getting to know their characters! I create a friendly and safe environment for animals. I like using positive training, play and sometimes I add a few strokes of massage for a bit of comfort :) if an animal is on the anxious side I give them space, comfort and reassurance without intimidation, I have a soft spot for such animals.

I need to know about any behavioral distortions, phobias, food allergies, injuries, disorders, and illnesses, and if there's anything in the medical history for me to be aware of! Also, how do they act and what are the rules in your house, if they visit mine. For eg. I'm not a fan of dogs on furniture, so I rather know before hand who my guest is.
A typical day
I usually go for long walks with dogs, preferably in the forest! I enjoy adding nose work and combining some exercises using natural obstacles. At home, it depends - if it's nap time I always have my kindle with me :) With cats, it's almost completely up to them what we do. I encourage active play but I don't push, the plan strongly depends on an individual.

REOPENS 1st JUNE 2026 & upcoming weekends ♥ Hej! I am an animal physiotherapist by profession, and that's where most of my experience working with pets comes from. My education provided me with knowledge in basic training, behaviourism, nutrition, and agility. This allows me to deal with more "unique" pets such as hyperactive, anxious, seniors, puppies or post-op. I started dog walking in Uppsala in 2023, took a break for adult job lol but I want to get back to animal services before I figure out my career path. I was also dog walking at my local animal shelter when I was younger so I have experience with bigger animals group. For the last 1,5y I worked with rodents, so if anyone has a rat that needs tickles I would love to help :) Boarding of cats/small animals could be discussed, because of my pets I need their characters to match before agreeing

Daria is a natural with dogs, very intuitive and calm. Our two rascals are super comfortable with her. Our Galgo is especially fearful of strangers but he warmed to Daria on the first meet, no barking at all and has happily gone off on his walks with her. We’re very grateful to Daria for her help!

Daria took care of my senior cat with home-sitting on 3 separate occasions. My cat Pesto has arthritis and needs some extra accommodation, which she absolutely provided. Thanks to her frequent updates I knew he was doing well! During our chat I learned a lot since Daria is an animal physiotherapist with a big heart for cats!
