I have been surrounded by animals my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. My father has owned and operated a dog related business for over 15 years, and I grew up helping him with the daily care and responsibilities that come with working with dogs. I currently work part time as a kennel technician at Hickory Small Animal Hospital in Ponchatoula, where I help care for pets staying in the boarding facility. This experience has made me comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities, routines, and individual needs. I also have extensive experience with horses and regularly help care for horses and assist with barn responsibilities for several owners. I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pets. I strive to provide dependable, attentive, and loving care while making sure every animal feels safe and comfortable while their owner is away.

Darcy is amazing! She traveled 30 minutes to do a last minute meet and greet and then drove back up here on Monday. It was a huge relief knowing our babies were being well taken care of on the worst day of my life…. My husbands funeral. She came and fed them dinner, washed their bowls (I expected them to be in the sink - but that extra touch was so special), made sure they all went potty and back inside. It’s always a little scary letting someone you don’t know come in and take care of pets but she is 1000% trustworthy and my crew loved her! It’s a comfort knowing I now have someone that I can call on to help when needed.

Darcy took such great care of our 110 pound St Bernard mix. She sent pictures and updates frequently, she offered to bathe him, and he was happy when we came to pick him up. I accidentally mixed up which date we would return and she was flexible and able to keep him an extra night. I absolutely recommend Darcy and would rebook with her.
Darcy took wonderful care of our dog, Chloe. She showed up on time and sent pictures during our absence. She was very willing to adjust times to accommodate Chloe’s schedule. I would highly recommend Darcy to take care of your animals. I plan to use her again in the future.
Darcy is wonderful, we can’t recommend her enough! She took care of all 8 of our pups and our home while we were away, and we came home to happy dogs and a clean house. She is always quick to respond to any messages, followed all instructions, and went above and beyond to take care of our little pack. We are thrilled to have found her!
Darcy was fantastic! We were in the process of moving and to change plans and times, and she rolled with it. And took on the challenge of taking care of our boys in their brand new surroundings and when we got home, they both seemed happy and well acclimated. Couldn’t have had a better outcome. Good communicator and good person.

I am a college student with a flexible schedule, which allows me to make pet care a priority. I also work part time, but I am able to plan my schedule around bookings and make sure each pet gets the time, attention, and care they deserve.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I have a fenced in yard where dogs can safely play and get plenty of outside time. I also have a friendly dog of my own who can provide some company and playtime! I am always happy to follow each owner’s preferences and routines to make sure their pet feels as comfortable and at home as possible.

I love keeping the dogs I care for active, entertained, and comfortable! Depending on their energy level and normal routine, our day may include walks, outdoor playtime, lots of attention, and plenty of time to relax. I also enjoy taking dogs on walks around my college campus. With the owner’s permission, we can visit a nearby dog park for some extra exercise and fun!
