Dogs deserve a great vacation too!
Since birth, dogs have been a part of our lives. Having family dogs growing up and having responsibilities with their care, set us both up perfectly to own and care for our two Boston Terriers as adults. We've spent the last 16 years making Rocco and Stella the number one priority in our lives; saying goodbye to them both over the last year has left a huge hole in our hearts and in our home. We love dogs, we’re dog people, and there’s nothing we won’t do to make sure any dog is as happy and healthy as they possibly can be. We’ve decided to take a break from owning another dog right now and thought we could spend time taking care of other dogs who need us. It was always VERY difficult for us to leave our pups with anyone when we went out of town, so we're acutely aware of how important it is to have the right care for your furry family member. You can feel at peace leaving your dog(s) in our care. We will treat them like family!

Our 13 year-old dog, Vince, is new to Rover, so we scheduled a sleep over with Darcy and Daniel to see how he'd do as a guest in someone else's home. Darcy and Daniel made Vince feel welcome and safe from the moment they met him. They are true dog-people--patient, understanding, and knowledgeable. They helped Vince settle in and sent us photos so we could see the fun he was having on walks. Thanks to this experience, we send Vince to Darcy and Daniel's home without hesitation, knowing that he is in excellent hands.
Darci and Daniel were wonderful with my 6yo Havanese! He slept in their bed, got to celebrate Father's Day with them, and seemed so happy with them when I came to pick him up. Great communicatiion, couldn't be happier. I'll definitely book with them again
Griffin enjoyed another wonderful stay at Darcy and Dan's! They are always very responsive to messages and clearly take great care of my pup. Griffin got SO excited when he realized we were driving to Darcy and Dan's and zoomed around when he went inside, which is such a great testament to their high quality care! We loved seeing photo updates of him relaxing and playing.
Amazing! I am SO happy that we found Daniel and Darcy! They are the first pet sitters we have ever used for our 2 big guys and I left them knowing that they were in such good hands! The dogs had the best day ever, and I was so relieved knowing they were in such caring environment. We loved the photo updates and texts. Highly recommend!!

One of us works from home full-time and the other works from home part-time, and we don’t do much on the weekends, so we're here for you!

Safety, trust & environment
Some reasons we might be a great fit for you and your dogs: - We only take one client's dogs at a time; we aren't a kennel, it's just us in our house, and we want your dog to feel like they're right at home when they're here. - We have a fully fenced, huge backyard and a very walkable, safe neighborhood for all of your pup's exercise needs. - We have been dog people for the past 16 years and our house is still set up for pets to be in it! We have lots of supplies, toys, beds and more so you don’t have to worry if you’ve forgotten to bring something with you. - We cared for our two dogs from puppyhood to seniorville and learned lots of tricks along the way. Both of our dogs had lots of health and physical issues in their golden years so we’re more than equipped to care for your seniors as well. If you’re nervous about leaving your senior, we’d love to chat with you and assure you they’ll be left in great hands! - We’re conveniently located in central Ann Arbor, so getting to us is easy!
A typical day
During the work week and during 8-5 working hours, we’ll do as much as possible to keep your pup engaged, but it’ll be quiet time mostly. After work though, we’re free to play, walk, snuggle and do anything else your dog loves to do! Our huge backyard provides a great, safe playground! We have lots of toys and enrichment games as well.
