Being part of an animal-loving family, I have grown up with at least one dog in the house every day. Because of this, I love dogs and am no stranger to caring for them. My family recently brought a new pet dog into the home. She is very sweet but very skittish and frightened of new things. However, it hasn’t taken long for me to earn her trust, and she now follows me around the house. I have had experience with pet sitting many dogs (even cats!) for people through Rover or for people I know personally, including my aunt’s four dogs, two of which are large boxers. I am very patient and have no problem with cleaning up messes if your pet should leave one.

I don’t board pets in my own home, but I am willing to stay at your house to watch your pets while you are gone! While there, they will be sure to receive lots of attention and love.

Darcie is amazing! This was a repeat booking and we will definitely book her again. She sends photos and updates daily, sometimes multiple times a day—which we appreciate so much. It can be nerve wracking leaving your babies behind for any amount of time, but knowing someone caring and responsible is with them calms the nerves. We highly recommend Darcie. Darcie has watched our two dogs twice now. She has excellent communication and sends lots of pictures and updates. Our fur kids have loved having her.

Schedule
I am currently working for myself, and therefore have an extremely flexible schedule! Any day of the week will usually work, unless I mark that day as unavailable or communicate with you to let you know that I’m unavailable to take the job. Once I take a job, you can be assured that I will be there when I say I’ll be.
