I'll run with your dog
I have been living with a dog (at one time with 3) since 2010. We recently said goodbye to our lab/retriever mix and are not quite yet ready to adopt a dog again but we miss having a dog around. As a pet parent I understand how stressful it can be finding reliable care and finding someone who will love your dog as much you do. It can also be tough when you find out you have to work late and will need someone to come to your rescue to let your baby out and feed them. When I’m not walking dogs, I’m taking care of my human children (who also love dogs) which means I have a somewhat flexible schedule, and I spend a lot of time outdoors. We have always found lots of fun outdoor bonding opportunities everywhere we have lived with our dog. We both love being outside and being active and I would love to share this hobby with your dog too!

Darcey was so quick to respond and really came through in a pinch for us! She took our very in need of getting some energy out dog for an hour walk + he came back the happiest boy! We will be booking her again. Thank you Darcey!

My husband and I were very grateful to have Darcey helping us out with our dogs while we were away. She is very conscientious and sent lots of photos to keep us updated. She even came back to walk the dogs a second time when they didn’t get a proper walk due to heavy rain. We wouldn’t hesitate to use her services again or recommend her to friends and family!
Darcey has watched our pet numerous times and she treats them like she treats my children - with tons of love and respect. Darcey is a very kind, selfless, caring person who loves animals and anyone would be lucky to have her care for their pet!
We were super pleased when Darcey watched our two dogs while we traveling. She was responsible for walking, feeding, and playing with Onyx and Ernie. It was clear when they saw her after the travel that they loved her- both ran up to her with tails wagging, hoping for another walk. We used Darcey multiple times and wish she still lived near. We highly recommend Darcey for pet sitting. She is reliable and friendly, and loves animals!

Schedule
I am a full time mom to two school aged children. I have reliable blocks of availability for the most part. I am in and out during the day and my husband works from home a lot of the time as qell.

Safety, trust & environment
We’re very big on walks, dog parks, fetch (our sweet pup was inexhaustible and could play fetch for hours), and my kids practically live in our yard so I’m outdoors a lot when I’m home. When caring for a pet in a client’s home, I follow the care instructions given by the pet parent.

A typical day
We can go for walks/runs locally, find a nearby trail, play fetch, or go to a dog walk. A hard thing about saying bye to our pup this summer was the realization that we humans also need 3-5 walks a day!
