I have taken care of dogs of all types since I was 9. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to care for their pets' needs: walking, feeding, and anything in between! I work from home two days a week and on the days when I do not work from home, I am able to come back for lunch to check on the pet. I have a crate for if you would like your dog to stay in one while I am not here, but don’t mind if they want to roam around my apartment for a bit while I am at work. I am also in graduate school, but all of my classes are in the evenings and online so that won’t interfere with my ability to provide quality care to your pet :) I enjoy walking and would love to have a dog join me! Whenever dog-sitting for friends and family I am respectful of the animal's needs as well as the space itself; always careful to abide by any rules/boundaries. For boarding I let dogs sleep on my bed if that is what is allowed in their usual home, same goes with sitting on furniture (I don’t want to break any habits that they have been trained not to do). Usually when I board pets, I stay home over the weekend and make sure to spend plenty of quality time with them. During the week, when I have work in-person, I can easily come home for lunch to check in on them and let them out during the day. I live in an apartment building with lots of other dogs! We have a few dog playgrounds which are super fun if you’re dog likes to socialize with others! Also there is a large green lawn that we can play on if your dog is high energy and you are comfortable with that.
