Because pet sitting is my full-time job, I have a very flexible schedule and can dedicate my time and attention fully to pet care. This allows me to be available throughout the day for feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship. I’m able to follow your pet’s normal routine closely so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. Whether your pet needs early morning care, midday check-ins, evening walks, or overnight attention, I can easily accommodate their schedule and give them plenty of supervision and interaction during the day.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is always creating a calm, safe, and familiar environment for them. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, routines, medications, and house rules so your pet’s normal schedule stays consistent. I pay close attention to body language and behavior to make sure pets are comfortable and stress-free. I also keep the home clean and secure by properly locking doors, monitoring pets during outdoor time, and making sure they don’t have access to anything unsafe. I treat every home and pet with the same respect and care I would expect for my own, and I’m always happy to provide updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands. 🐾

Before a stay, I like to learn as much as possible so I can keep your pet comfortable and maintain their normal routine. It’s helpful for me to know your pet’s daily schedule (feeding times, walks, potty breaks, and sleep routine), personality, and favorite activities. Please also let me know about any allergies, medications, dietary restrictions, or health concerns. I also appreciate knowing about any behaviors to keep an eye on, such as anxiety, escaping, resource guarding, chewing, or anything that might make your pet uncomfortable. If your pet has specific training cues or commands you use, I’m happy to follow those as well. For safety and logistics, it’s important for me to know how to access the home and the areas where your pet stays. Please let me know about entry instructions, gates or doors I should use, and how to safely get pets in and out of the yard or designated areas. If your home has a security system, alarm, or cameras, I appreciate knowing ahead of time so I can follow the proper procedures and respect your home’s setup. Any additional details that help me keep your pet safe and comfortable are always welcome.
A typical day
A typical day with me is centered around your pet’s usual routine so they feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. I start by making sure pets are fed, have fresh water, and get a potty break or walk depending on their needs. Throughout the day I spend time giving them attention, playtime, and mental stimulation so they stay happy and engaged. For dogs, this can include walks, play sessions, or just spending time together so they don’t feel lonely. For more relaxed pets, I’m just as happy to keep them company and give them a calm, reassuring presence. I also make sure litter boxes, food areas, and general spaces stay clean and comfortable. My goal is to adapt to each pet’s personality and energy level—whether that means active playtime, regular walks, or simply relaxing together so they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. I’m also happy to provide updates and photos so you can see how your pet is doing. 🐾
