Availability
I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, so I’m available any day of the week. I’m able to take dogs out frequently throughout the day and provide consistent attention rather than long periods alone. This setup works especially well for puppies, senior pets, and animals that need regular walks, feedings, or companionship. I’m around most of the day to accommodate feeding schedules, medications, playtime, and check-ins—and I’m happy to adjust based on your pet’s routine.

A typical day
Because I work from home, pets are never left alone for long stretches. The day usually starts with a morning walk or outdoor time, followed by breakfast and some relaxed hang-out time while I work. Throughout the day, I take regular breaks for walks, playtime, and check-ins, and dogs have access to an outdoor space to relax and get fresh air. I’m attentive to each pet’s routine—whether that means extra exercise, quiet nap time, or medication and feeding schedules. Evenings include another longer walk or play session, dinner, and calm downtime. Cats get plenty of affection on their terms, enrichment, and a clean litter area. Overall, the day is structured, calm, and flexible, with lots of attention, movement, and comfort—so pets feel at home, not kenneled.

Pet care experience
I’m a longtime Rover sitter based in NYC with years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’ve had pets my entire life and currently have one friendly dog of my own. I’m very comfortable with different temperaments, routines, and energy levels—from active pups who need frequent walks to chill pets who just want companionship. I have access to an outdoor space where dogs can safely relax and get fresh air, and I’m able to take dogs out frequently throughout the day. I’m attentive to feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any special care needs. I genuinely love animals and treat every pet as if they were my own—prioritizing safety, consistency, and lots of affection.
Reviews

Darby was wonderful and communicative during a challenging time with my dog being sick. I received pictures and updates frequently. I would absolutely rebook!

Athens had the best time staying with Darby! She’s usually anxious but felt super comfortable during the stay. Darby sent me regular updates, was extremely communicative, and super accommodating when I had a long flight delay and had to extent the stay. Can’t recommend enough!

Darby was wonderful with Charlie and extremely responsive. She went above and beyond with washing the pee pad when our little puppy had an accident. Thank you so much for your help Darby!

The best sitter in Denver!
