Availability
Pet care fits naturally into our family’s daily routine. I’m a teacher, so I’m home during summers and school breaks, including two weeks each in fall, winter, and spring. My work schedule when teaching allows me to stop by home during lunch to check in on pets and I’m home by 3:30 PM leaving the evening open for playtime and companionship. Our two boys (13 and 15) also love animals and are learning responsibility by helping care for pets alongside me — giving extra love, playtime, walks, and attention. As a family, we’re able to comfortably provide care in our home or stop by for feedings, walks, check-ins, and play visits throughout the day. During the school year, I’m available before 7:00 AM and after 3:30 PM.

I care for pets like they’re part of the family! I love greeting them with excitement, giving them attention, playtime, cuddles, and making sure they feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. I enjoy taking dogs on walks or runs, playing fetch, and honestly love when they get the zoomies and show their personalities. Safety is always a priority. In our home, pets are supervised and can be safely crated or given their own quiet room if needed for rest, comfort, or separation. We have a fully fenced yard for outdoor play and a dog door so pets can move in and out comfortably throughout the day. We do have a pool that is not fenced, so I make sure dogs are monitored outside and will always follow the owner’s instructions regarding outdoor access and supervision. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, my goal is to make them feel safe, happy, exercised, and loved.

A typical day
I love playing with animals on the floor, throwing balls and toys or playing tug of war. I enjoy doing practice of behavior with treats such as stay, wait, come, sit, down, and shake. I also learned with my dogs how to settle and calm through relaxing massage at end of day or when overwhelmed.

Pet care experience
Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember! From snow days and trampoline adventures with my dog Bear to life with my two loyal Rhodesian Ridgebacks, animals have always been my happy place. These days, our sweet rescue Stella keeps life calm and cozy, and I still find that animals naturally seem to trust and connect with me. I’ve even taken obedience training classes because I genuinely love learning more about dog behavior and communication. I’m comfortable with energetic pups, gentle seniors, big dogs, little dogs, and yes — cats too (even if we can’t have them at home because of allergies). My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.

It’s always nice feeling very comfortable leaving your pup somewhere. They took great care of Jet. Jet seems like he had an amazing time there and had a blast. Would let them watch Jet anytime.
Darbi and Nathanael took excellent care of our three pups. They offered a meet and greet ahead of our first booking, which was wonderful. We felt reassured and worry free leaving our pups in their care traveling. They paid careful attention to each pup’s needs and shared updates of how it was going. When we picked up our pups, they seemed to have had a wonderful time and were very content. Thank you for your care! We appreciate it and will rebook.
Archie was well taken care of and I got updates every couple of days. It was perfect and I will gladly board again
