Hello my name is Daralyn 😊 I was born and raised in sunny San Diego, currently living in Little Italy, and am a huge an animal lover! I started Rover after I lost my sweet girl who was a 12 year old English bulldog at the beginning of 2024. Being a pet sitter truly helps fill my cup and is such a rewarding experience getting to help take care of your fur babies while you are away and get in much needed pet snuggles myself. I have a lot of experience with senior care, having taken care of my old girl when she was around (including providing medication, topical creams, special diets, etc). I have had many different breeds of dogs throughout my childhood, so I am very familiar with handlings different breeds of all different ages and temperament's. My home is truly their home when they are in my care! Daralyn was amazing! Our Colby is 12yrs old and very affectionate. Daralyn was so sweet and patient. She took him on walks a few times a day. She's very commincative and take photos throughout the day. Colby adores her. We will definitely hire her again!
Daralyn is just fantastic. We had just moved to the area and she was kind enough to meet us a day earlier so our dog would be familiar with her. Contessa was at ease with her when she left with Daralyn. Definitely recommend having her watch your pet too.

Schedule
I work from home full time, so I have a lot of time and freedom to help care for your pets and take them out for a quick potty break or a good long walk at any time of the day!

Safety, trust & environment
Depending on the request of a client, I can make sure to follow all rules and guidelines when being in your home to pick your dog up for a walk. I am always respectful of everyone’s space and home, to ensure all parties are the most comfortable.
A typical day
We are out and about many times throughout the day on walks around my neighborhood and along waterfront park. Depending on your preference, I can also can take them to the local dog park, dog beach, or hiking trails for some extra exercise and play time. I am also happy to just be a friend who can play with them while there at home for a bit!
