Hi, I’m Darah—new to Houston, not new to dogs! I started working in a kennel at 15, trained through dog grooming school then groomed alongside vets and top groomers, went on to successfully run two grooming businesses in Oklahoma and Connecticut. I’ve cared for dogs professionally and personally my entire life, and I’ve always been the person friends, clients, and neighbors trusted with their pets. Now I’m in the Heights area and looking to fill my days with walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting for the same kind of dogs I’ve always loved—energetic, sweet, quirky, big, small, all of them. I’ve had my own pack over the years too (at one point: five dogs, a cat, a snake, and a fish. Oh and a human husband) so I’m very used to different personalities and routines! If you’re looking for someone experienced, calm, and genuinely obsessed with dogs, I’ll treat yours like my own.

When it comes to pet care, I like to keep your dog’s routine as close to normal as possible. Some dogs need a good run and energy release, while others just need a potty break, some attention, and a cozy afternoon of belly rubs and TV time. Every dog is different, and I follow their rhythm so they feel comfortable, calm, and at home while you’re away.

It’s hard to find someone that loves and takes care of animals more than Darah. She has groomed and cared for our pets on multiple occasions and there has never been an issue. She will treat all pets as if they were her own. You can trust that you and your pet will get the treatment and service you deserve.
Darah is the best groomer that I know. I met her in Oklahoma and fell in love with her and her skills and her patience with my doggie. Nothing wrong with him. He’s just socially awkward. She also took very good care of my fluffy butt and even made cute gifts during the holidays. If I was going to be out of town or needed somebody to take care of my dog, Darah would be my first person to ask.
I can not say enough about this lady and her skill set with animals. You will never find a better person to leave and trust your animals with. We’ve try many after Darah left our area, it was never the same.

Darah took great care of my two dogs for several years. While mine do not need a typical grooming, they shed and she was able to help me keep it under control with blowouts and specialized brushing; Trimmed nails and would also have them in her care for days! My dogs love her and are always so happy to see her. Her love for animals shines through in all she does as she cares for them. I would recommend her to anyone who loves their pet...they will fall in love with her too!
Darah is the best hands down when it comes to pets. She has been the only one I trusted to take care of my service dog Zoey. She has always treated my Zoey as her own. Best groomer and pet sitter ever. I won’t trust anybody else.

Schedule
My husband and I relocated to Houston for his career. So my personal availability is open for any and all pet care- from daily walks to vacation drop ins.
