Ensuring the very best for our furry friends is simply part of my DNA. Born and raised in the Netherlands around dog trainers, I have 25+ years of experience in all types of pet care (medications, behavior, maintenance). Navigating the deep loss of my own beloved dog in spring 2025, has only strengthened my empathy for the bond you share with your pets and the trust it takes to leave them in someone else’s care. I've recently transitioned from full-time dog walking and sitting to a corporate role, and offer pet care around that schedule. With two days a week working from home and my office just 10 minutes away, it's easy for me to drop in for a midday potty break or quick check-in. As a dog walker on Rover, I bring the same level of love and dedication to caring for your pets that I brought to my own. Whether it’s a brisk walk to burn off some energy, a leisurely stroll to explore new scents, or simply providing companionship, your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness remain the focus. Therefore, at my house or yours, I commit to only care for animals from one family at a time. I make sure your pets have a calm environment and my full attention, adjusting routines and communication to match your preferences so you always feel informed and at ease. With a structured work schedule, nearby office, and a genuine love for animals, I am here to offer reliable, thoughtful, and trustworthy pet services that fit realistically with my corporate life. Our furry daughter Sophie spent a wonderful afternoon and night with Daphne. Honestly Daphne is one of the best Rover boarders ever. From the first moment she met Sophie they got along great and Daphne was careful not to part with Sophie too abruptly - she wanted a smooth transition which is so great for Sophie. Our little Golden loves to walk and play in all weather, and so does Daphne apparently - they had a great time together even on the rainy morning next day. Plenty of pics snd updates to let us know. Sophie is quite pampered at home especially at bedtime, and Daphne made sure she was content, comfortable, and had a restful nights sleep. Highly highly recommend.
I cannot say enough about how much we love Daphne. I was nervous to hire a dog walker for my new puppy, Truffle, but Daphne has made it such a great experience. She is a great communicator, works with me so we are training Truffle in similar ways, and most importantly she clearly loves working with dogs. Since walking with Daphne Truffle has been better behaved, calmer in her kennel, and less anxious; I have also been less anxious knowing my pup is safe and cared for.
Daphne is PHENOMENAL! We have 3 pets: a hyper/drama queen 9.5yo dog, a very anxious 1.5yo former village dog, and an 8.5yo cat. She came highly recommended by a good friend and when we met her we knew immediately she was the perfect sitter for our fur babies! She has a kind, calming presence and knows exactly how to interact with each of our very different pets so they can feel comfortable with us away. I was so nervous to leave them, but she shared frequent updates and photos, so I quickly went into vacation mode. :) Not only that, Daphne is an excellent trainer, playmate, and was comfortable giving meds to all 3 pets. My husband and I joked that they won’t want her to leave!
Daphne is fantastic—you won’t find someone more knowledgeable or trustworthy for your furry friend. My pup is friendly but high-energy and still learning his manners/boundaries, so I really appreciate her patient & mindful attention to his needs. She is also able to offer great suggestions; consistent communication before and after. Pep 🐾 and I are very grateful!
Daphne is one of Crickets favorite people! She always makes time to connect with her at the beginning of visits and makes sure Cricket has time to sniff, run and get all of her energy out! I am always thankful for Daphnes updates and photos- giving me a snapshot into their day!
Our Malinois pup is a rescue and is very hesitant around new people. Daphne has been very patient and understanding working with him to get him more comfortable with allowing her to be in his home. She has been great with communication with updated with us and is punctual for our meeting windows. You can tell she loves dogs and being around them. She is a great dog walker and we are happy to be working with her

I work 2 days remote and 3 days in office which is only 10min away, so I'll have plenty of time for your pup!! X

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard, 4Mile Run Park at walking distance and no stairs in my apartment. I can easily crate your dog if desired and have tile flooring for easy cleanup.
A typical day
A tired dog is a happy dog! Depending on what your pup requires, we go on short or long walks where sniffing and mental stimulation are key! I am an active girl, so jogging or riding the bicycle together are enjoyable options as well! I have plenty of dog specific activity games as well for rainy / snowy days to keep us both entertained.
