A Pawsitive Home Away from Home ❤️🐾❤️
I have been caring for dogs of all kinds for many years. Neighbours, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets, always knowing they are in safe and loving hands. I also grew up on a farm with my grandparents, surrounded by animals and nature. That experience gave me a deep understanding of animal behaviour and the importance of patience, kindness and consistency when caring for them. Over time I’ve looked after dogs of every size, age and personality – from lively puppies full of energy to older dogs who need a gentler pace and a little extra care. I love to feel connected to the pets I look after and I treat every one of them as part of my family. I truly enjoy spending time outdoors and going on long walks, which makes dogs not only happy but also calm and relaxed at home. What sets me apart is the genuine attention, love and care I give, making sure each pet feels comfortable, safe and valued at all times.

Rory stayed for 3 nights over bank holiday, arranged in advanced and did a meet & greet prior to stay. Was kept updated with photos. Rory enjoys his walks as he is high energy, so this was accomodated for with no issue. Open to book with Dany G again when the time comes👍😎👍

Schedule
Pet care fits very well into my daily routine. I am at home for most of the day, with a few meetings mostly in the afternoons. I can plan these around my furry guests, so they always have my full attention and company. I have a flexible routine, which allows me to offer doggy day care, walks, and boarding. I am happy to adapt to each pet’s usual routine, making sure they feel comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety and comfort always come first. In my home, I make sure the environment is secure and pet-friendly, with doors and gates checked and locked so there’s no chance of pets slipping out. I also use ID tags with my details and keep a close eye on the dogs, whether we are indoors or out on a walk. I create a calm and loving atmosphere where pets can feel at ease, treating them as part of my own family. I follow each owner’s routine carefully, from feeding schedules to walking times, so pets feel comfortable and cared for in a familiar way. When I look after pets in an owner’s home, I respect their space and make sure everything is kept clean and safe, giving the same level of care and attention as I would in my own home.
A typical day
Each dog has their own pace, so I make sure activities match their personality. We’ll enjoy peaceful walks, sniffing adventures, and a bit of playtime if they’re up for it. I also love spending quiet moments giving belly rubs or brushing their coat. My goal is always to make them feel safe, relaxed, and loved — just like at home.
