A typical day

A typical visit with me is all about keeping your dog happy, engaged, and comfortable in their routine. We'll have a great time with a mix of mentally and physically stimulating activities based on your pet’s personality and energy level. This can include engaging training games where your dog can earn treats and praise, interactive toys, short play sessions, and enrichment activities like food puzzles or scent games. For dogs that enjoy getting outside, we’ll go for structured walks where they can explore, sniff, and burn off some energy in a safe and controlled way. For more relaxed pups, we can keep things calm with gentle play, companionship, and plenty of attention. And of course, cuddles and nap time are always part of the plan when your dog is ready to relax. My goal during every visit is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away, so they can enjoy their time just as much as you enjoy your trip.

Reliable Care for Energetic Dogs 🐾

Pet care experience

Hi, I'm Danny! I’m a dog trainer and enrichment-focused sitter based in Nashville, TN. I’ve been working with dogs for over 20 years, and I truly enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and what makes them happy. While I do great with all dogs, I especially have a soft spot for high-energy pups and strong personalities — the ones people often say are “a lot of dog.” Whether it’s a German Shepherd, Malinois, Rottweiler, or just an energetic family dog that needs more structure, I’m here to help them succeed. My approach is simple: your dog doesn’t just get watched — they get engaged. Every visit includes some level of enrichment, whether that’s structured walks, light training, play, or helping reinforce good habits. This keeps your dog mentally stimulated, which usually means a calmer, happier pup when you get home. I’ve also worked with: Puppies who are still learning the basics (potty training, routines, etc.) Senior dogs who need a slower, more patient approach Dogs with special needs, including hearing or vision loss Reactive or strong-willed dogs that need someone confident and consistent No matter the dog, I adjust to their needs and energy. I work from home full-time, so your dog gets real attention — not someone rushing in and out between a busy schedule. I also make sure you stay updated with photos, videos, and clear communication so you always feel at ease. At the end of the day, I treat every dog like they’re my own. Whether your pup needs calm companionship or someone who can match their energy, you can count on me to show up with patience, structure, and genuine care. If you think we’d be a good fit, feel free to reach out — I’d love to meet you and your dog!

Danny was amazing! I could not recommend him enough! I was nervous leaving my two dogs- with one being an older dog and puppy who is not potty trained. He helped so much in helping potty training him and was very communicative throughout the stay. He sent updates and photos (which is always reassuring). He left me follow up notes on how to continue potty training when I came back and was just so helpful! He was very professional and so helpful. I will definitely be rebooking with him and I highly recommend to anyone needing a sitter!!

Did a meet and greet with Danny and his wife and totally felt comfortable with them keeping Milee my fur baby. Did his research on Milee and read her profile before we met, so he was prepared and understood how picky I was. When I dropped her off for her stay, she took to Danny and I left feeling she was safe. Danny sent pictures and msgs to keep me posted on how she was doing. Definitely recommend Danny for his attentiveness, patience and mild mannerism. Milee will be knocking on his door again for another stay soon. Thanks Danny.

Danny is amazing from his communication to the way he cared about our pets. Definitely was put at ease while away. He provided pictures, videos and a detailed summary of what they did for the day. He even wore our Malinois out versus the other way around. We are truly grateful to him. Will be booking him for all of our pet sitting needs.
