Information Danny D. would like to know about your pet
I typically ask owners to bring a printout of their feeding and walk schedule to drop off. It’s also good to know any behavioral quirks the dog might have (chasing after squirrels, not getting along with other dogs, picky eaters, etc.). I always make sure to ask if the dog has any allergies or if certain foods upset their stomach.
A typical day
I believe it is incredibly important to not only stimulate a dog physically, but also mentally. I absolutely love going on hikes with dogs (with the owners permission of course). I live walking distance to an amazing nature preserve with miles of trails. I like to start each morning with a long hike - it’s so good for the pet (and me!). The heat isn’t too bad in the mornings but I always bring a collapsible water bowl with plenty of water. I ensure to keep them in the shade and their paws off concrete on hot days.

Pet care experience
What Sets Me Apart: Promises: (1) Your pets will hardly ever spend a minute alone. I do this full-time and live in the space where I keep them. See my photos for pictures of the area. (2) Deliver daily photo/video updates and maintain active direct line of communication for the duration of your pets stay. (3) I love pets and I intend to treat them all as if they were my own while under my care. (4) I only book multiple pets after a lengthy conversation with both owners, which must end with approvals on both sides. Introductions are done professionally through the large playpen I have. I use the playpen to divide the pets during feeding times and all unsupervised time. I have my own crate, playpen, toys and food/water bowls. Owners only needs to provide food, and anything else they would like their pet to have access to while they're away (beds, toys, treats, etc.) In addition to my perfect Rover review record, I work with WAG, where I also maintain a perfect 5-star review average. I’m happy to provide references. I have owned and trained dogs most of my life. I have fostered puppies and experience training all types of dogs. I took a 2 week intensive training course with a company called Love in the Lead when I lived in Charlotte.

Danny is so reliable & communicative. I trust him with my two cats every time I’m out of town and am so happy to have found him!
Danny was great, and the dogs loved him!

This was our first time using Rover and Danny was awesome! He was super communicative and always giving updates on when he’d be at our place. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience as we all know it’s hard to leave your fur babies! Thank you Danny!!
