A typical day
Play and exercise are always the best stimulation for dogs and cats. I enjoy getting the know the pets personalities and finding what they like to do. For dogs, knowing the breed’s natural ability and instincts can be a wonderful way of creating positive interactions and activities! For pets who are disabled or less physically inclined, mental stimulation is even more important that physical.

Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Dannika and I am a working mom to three wonderful kids. I’ve been working as a veterinary assistant/ technician for the past 8+ years. Everything from avian, canine, and feline veterinary specialties and loved my time working with a K9 behavioral consultant. I have made house calls for clients to help with their ill and special needs pets for years. I found Rover and thought I’d extend my services to others! Pets are a big part of what makes our lives happy and meaningful. I grew up with dogs, cats, and reptiles. If your pet has special needs or a strict schedule, lets talk about them!

Reviews

Dannika was great! I could tell she enjoyed our dogs and I felt completely comfortable with them in her care.

Dannika did a great job - the cats warmed up to her right off the bat. Thank you for the updates and super cute photos!

Dannika is an exceptional pet sitter. She took the time to ask questions about my cats I didn't think to answer ahead. She arrives when the agreement calls for it, and she sends photos at each visit. I received both action shots and adorable stills that are going in the permanent cat book. Dannika made sure my house was just as I left it, that my cats were fed with clean bowls, and that my cats were watered at each visit. I was infinitely more comfortable leaving my pets alone with a stranger after meeting her. She will do you well. Highly recommended.
Dannika is very reliable and has great knowledge of the care for pets. She has always left our home and pets in great condition when we arrive home. My pet love her. I highly recommend her services.
