Lifelong animal lover!
As a former vet tech, a pet rescue volunteer, and a lifelong animal lover, your beloved family member will be in good hands. I’ve had cats and dogs throughout my life, and have cared for other animals (birds, rabbits, lizards) as well. My personal furbabies are used to “new” friends, but I have the means to keep them separated as desired. Does your dog like to get on the couch? Absolutely, if that’s ok with you! I have also worked with dog trainers over the years and I’m happy to implement basic commands, if desired. You can rest assured that your beloved pet will be treated just like one of my own! I live in the gated community of Laurel Valley, with ample space to walk your furry friend. If you are concerned about your pet with other animals I am happy to keep them separated from mine, and I have no problem letting your pet sleep in bed with me if you prefer! I also have a large crate if preferred, and have lots of experience with crate training.

Danita took great care of our 13 year old cockapoo while we were visiting the Smokies and had a long hike day planned. She did a zoom meet-and-greet with us ahead of time and was very attentive to his/our needs. She was willing to do an early drop off and communicated with us throughout the day with lots of pictures. She has pets of her own but is able to keep them separate as needed. Quincy came home happy and tired and we would definitely use her again if in the area!
Danita was great! Friendly and responsive after a last minute request for a drop-in visit. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again.
Very thoughtful. We were happy with pre-trip visit. Danita was very warm with our pets, thoughtful with updates, and very kind a communicative. Our pets were very happy when we returned. We will definitely trust her with our fur babies in the future!

Danita was a perfect host for the day for my Tessa! They seemed to bond instantly and when I picked Tessa up, she was glad to see me but actually ran back up to Damita's door before I got her in the car as to say "goodbye" one more time. They took a walk and Danita has a beautiful home up on a mountain with a fenced yard so Tessa could enjoy the sights and sounds of the mountains as well. She also has other dogs and a cat so ur pet can have playmates. Unfortunately. I was held up in the Pigeon Forge traffic and was very late picking Tessa up, but Danita didn't make me feel bad about it. She was very understanding. She is great with communicating about your pet and sent some truly beautiful pics of my Tessa during her visit. Danita is a very kind and pleasant person and so is her boyfriend. They are truly pet loving people and I couldn't have found a better daycare arrangement for out trip to the Smokies. You won't be disappointed!!! Thank you Danita❤️
Danita was amazing, she help me out at the last moment when my scheduled dog walker did not show up. I would recommend her to take care of your fur baby. She even offered to dog sit so my vacation was not stressful due to the other dog walker being a no show.
