From a very young age, I have always had a love of animals whether they had four legs or scales. Growing up I rode horses, had 2 dogs, and at points also had guinea pigs, bearded dragons, fish, and bunnies. However, my best buddy growing up was my Australian Shepherd, Shiloh. Shiloh was ultimately the reason growing up I found a passion for the outdoors and hiking. Spending as much time as possible either on walks around the neighbourhood, hiking through local trails, camping, cottaging, swimming, or at the dog park with my best buddy. As a dog walker/sitter, I understand that our animals are not just animals, but are also our family. They are our honorary family members that need to be loved, protected, and cherished along with giving them the best quality of life possible. Exercise and being outside and around nature is so critical to a dog having its best quality of life. With a flexible schedule, I can cater to your dogs needs and give them the exercise and outside time they need whether that's on a nature hike, or just a walk through your local neighbourhood. Having a car also allows me to get to your pooch wherever they may be in a timely manner, and take them to local parks if requested. I am ultimately a happy and warm individual who keeps their energy calm and who is happy to play with your pup, give them a good walk, or even practice reinforcing basic training that you've been working on with your pup. Whether that be reinforcing basic commands on walks or giving behavioral guidance. For those with rambunctious dogs, I am happy to run around and play with your dog or take them on long walks, along with feeling comfortable and calm with your pooch and being stern when necessary. As your dog's parent, my ultimate goal is to give you the comfort of knowing your dog is being well taken care of, while also giving your pooch a well-rounded and positive experience.
