Pet loving home
I have worked in the veterinary field for over ten years, I moved from Grass Valley with my husband and two children to pursue our dream of managing a large scale commercial cattle ranch. Doing so gave me the opportunity to raise our children out in the country, with the same animal-filled upbringing I enjoyed as a child. I grew up with a variety of animals: horses, goats, chickens, ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs, and birds. Ever the animal lover, I was always bringing home homeless or injured animals to our parents; once, a pot-bellied pig followed me home from the bus stop, and she even got to bottle raise a deer! I trained and trialed my first border collie, Faith, at the age of 16, and have continued to pursue dog training opportunities throughout my career. Throughout my life, I have worked with several prominent canine organizations, including Greyhounds Friends for Life Rescue, Sacramento Independent Animal Rescuers, and the Canine Support Team in Southern California, who provide assistance dogs for people with physical disabilities.

Danika was so loving with Hazel! She and her family welcomed Hazel as one of their own dogs and she fit right in. Danika was also attentive to Hazel when she developed a sore on her leg and took care of her until we got home.
Danika is absolutely wonderful! We feel very lucky that we connected through Rover and now try to utilize her every time we go out of town to watch our Golden Retriever. She is GREAT with animals and is always very responsive! Definitely puts us at ease when we travel that our dog is in good hands!
Lucca came back happy
Danika was great! Finn did not want to come home, he loved his time there. I will definitely send him there again, Finn adjusted really well and fell in love with her son.
Now that we have found Danika we won't have any one else sit for our dogs. She was amazing with them and we came home to happy, contented dogs.
What an amazing place Danika has! Plenty of space for the dogs to wander and smell all sorts of farm goodies. Danika's family treated our pups like they were visiting cousins from far away. The hound got daily walks, courtesy of Danika's son and the terrier got to do what terriers do... expend energy all the time!!! Pick-up and drop-off were made stress free by Danika's ability to clearly communicate via text. The next time we take off, we'll definitely see if Danika has space for our dogs.

Schedule
Boarding available for weekday and weekends. I work from home two days a week and go into office a few days a week. Pets will be taken for yard plate in the morning and longer walk in the evening.

Pets are cared for like family. Inside and outside fenced time as well as leash walks available for fur babies. Medications given when needed, special needs boarders welcome.
