Availability

Current pet owners make the best sitters because we’re already on some sort of potty and walk schedule haha! I work remotely and will have constant eyes on your pet. I don't make any personal plans during a service. Exact schedule will be discussed prior to booking and any deviations from it will be communicated with you.

Information Danielle Y. would like to know about your pet

I need to be aware beforehand if your pet has any unpleasant traits/tendencies no matter how rare they occur. Most pets are different when the pawrents are not around—just how they deal with anxiety or even things they do for fun but I should keep an eye out for. Examples: Leash aggression and/or pulling Running away Likes to roll in mud (to prevent unplanned baths) Separation Anxiety-chewing, licking, scratching, not eating, excessive crying Possible accidents even though he/she is potty trained Resource guarding Aggressive chewer My pup has done all of these and I completely understand. All dogs are good dogs! I just need to know ahead of time. The more I know about your pup, the better care I can provide for them.

A typical day

Playtime with your pet is completely defined by you and how they like to play and what their needs are especially when it comes to walks. My furbaby will be my assistant to keep your pet company while you're gone, yes cats included. He is a great host and respects whatever type of play (or not) your pet likes. I'm not open to board any aggressive pets, but I'm happy to watch them in your home.

Pet care experience

I only take one client at a time! Though I will reference dogs a lot, I grew up with cats, dogs, bunnies, hamsters, parakeets, cockatiels, turtles, and fishes. About three years ago, I adopted a pup that was running around the streets of Puerto Rico for about 4 years of his life. Since then I've been focused on educating myself (aka watching YouTube videos and connecting with trainers) in understanding behaviors, training manners and setting structures. We're almost always training and we've come quite a long way! I have experience with reactive dogs and how to properly use tools such as the prong collar and R+ methods(I worked with a trainer). I can continue any training while you’re gone while making them feel like they're also on vacation. I have a soft spot for special pups. It takes special humans(you!) to care for special pups and you deserve a responsible and trustworthy human to care for them while you're away.

Danielle went above and beyond! We can't thank her enough for taking on the last minute request and taking time out of her Saturday for a meet and greet. She was very thorough with questions about care, and spent extra time playing with our pups during her drop-in visits. Also her response time was fast, making us feel comfortable about follow through on our first booking. I wish we contacted Danielle sooner because she will be our first call every time from now on :)

Danielle was amazing! She did an exceptional job walking and taking care of our pup, and she sent the cutest pictures 🐶📸 it made being away from boy much easier. We felt completely at ease knowing he was in such great hands. We’ll absolutely use her again in the future and would recommend her to any friend! 💛
