We were excited to have Danielle watch our pups- as initially the communication was good. However things took a turn, Danielle started off the booking by telling us that she was sick and showed up over 4hrs past the time initially indicated. We gave her an option to have our emergency contact take care of the dogs for her and she said no. Then she claimed she wanted her husband to stay overnight with her and we stated we were not comfortable with that but still allowed him to ‘briefly visit.’ Unfortunately ultimately our dogs were not fed on time, Danielle had her husband stay in our home, use our washer and dryer and then when asked about it, an uncomfortable interaction happened between the sitter, unauthorized overnight guest and one of our animals. Then when asked to leave the communication became argumentative from Danielle rather than taking accountability. Ultimately our landlord reached out concerning the argument that transpired in our home while away. I’m still giving some stars because ultimately our dogs are ok and do not believe this would have happened if Danielle did not allow the unauthorized overnight guest to stay and use our things. Also the washer and dryer that were used without asking require water input in order to prevent a fire hazard, we were not asked prior to use and could have informed them—if simply asked— although no one other than the sitter for pet needs should be using our appliances regardless. We hope Danielle enjoyed the snack basket that we left for her and hope that she takes this as a learning experience regarding following the rules set by pet parents for paid stays and that this does not happen to future pet parents.

Danielle has been amazing with Scooby. Scooby has Anixety toward strangers, but Danielle got him to come out of his hiding place and play. She also takes great pictures and videos of her time with Scooby. She is always on time and texts before she arrives. 100% reccomend Danielle!
