Pet care experience

I have had dogs at home my whole childhood, where I had my first exposure to taking care of them. I have been partially responsible for my childhood dog's care for about 7 years. More recently, I have been a trainer for future service dogs through the organization 4 Paws for Ability. I have had formal training on how to care for and do training with puppies, adult dogs, and service dogs. My professional experience in taking care of dogs started about 2 years ago. For my first year of this I had full time responsibility of a service dog in training named Curry. I trained Curry from 12 weeks old to 1 year old, when he was accepted into the Advanced Training program at the 4 Paws facility! Any dog that I care for is properly supervised to ensure their safety and happiness. If you wish, I also training exercises while your dog is in my home.

Cooper had a wonderful stay with Danielle. She sent frequent updates and pictures. I don’t think he wanted to leave when I picked him up.

Danielle is fully competent and excels at pet sitting & dog walking. She is aware of a pet's needs and also has a caring attitude towards the pet's well being, whether it be for feeding, walking, grooming, playing, or health. Danielle has completed thousands of hours of training for a certified service dog over a year period through 4 Paws for Ability. The dog lived with Danielle most of the time over the year period and Danielle was the dog's primary caregiver. In addition, she also served as a backup for caring for other service dogs in training, when the primary trainer was unavailable. I am confident Danielle can independently care for dogs through Rover.com.

Danielle is a fantastic dog sitter! She is very energetic! Our dog Jessie, who is part retriever, has endless fun playing fetch with Danielle. Danielle watched Jessie while she was actively training a service dog. We watched her treat Curry gently while guiding him to follow commands. She was so positive and understanding! I would recommend her to anyone!

Danielle has been an avid animal lover her whole life and loves especially to help care for them! She watched family pets growing up, including dogs and gerbils. She also participated in the Four Paws for Ability program during college, serving as a primary trainer for a service dog while he was a puppy. Additionally, she has helped watch neighbors pets -both dogs and cats- over the years. She is responsible and helpful when caring for all pets, and is sure to put your pets needs and happiness first!
