Safety, trust & environment

I would prefer to take care of pets in their own home, as that's where they are likely most comfortable and familiar. In a pinch, however, I might be able to accommodate another animal at my home. My roommate owns a senior teacup yorkie, so depending on the demeanor/size of your animal, we might be able to make it work. I have an SUV that is perfect for transporting pups to walking/hiking trails!

Information Danielle W. would like to know about your pet

Temperament, feeding, schedules, any behaviors to watch out for (i.e. timid around other dogs we might pass on a walk, tendency to chew shoes, etc.) Favorite toys, beds, treats!

A typical day

Walks around the neighborhood or to dog parks, depending on what is available in any given area. Playtime is a must as well! Plenty of socialization with myself and other dogs/humans depending on the dog(will NOT bring around other dogs if not dog friendly).

Pet care experience

I have been taking care of animals as long as I can remember! I have grown up with cats and dogs, and have experience raising puppies from birth. I've owned small animals, fish, and birds in the past as well. In addition, I have dogsitting experience, and briefly had a job helping out at a grooming salon bathing dogs, which I really enjoyed. I love being out and about with dogs and taking them to explore the world. When I dog-sit, keeping to a dog's normal schedule is a goal, so that the dog is as happy and comfortable as possible. I believe asking questions is never a bad thing, so I will be armed with knowledge before any pet-sitting or dog walking appointment. I hope that I can be of service to you and your four-legged family member!!

Where do I start? We hired Danielle for an overnight house sitting/pet sitting job. For starters, she was quick to respond and extremely flexible. We set up a time to meet with her before the weekend away and gave her a run down of everything. The morning we were leaving, our dog got very sick and Danielle was extremely quick to respond offering to come sooner and even connected us to another dog sitter who helped out by coming earlier to check on him before Danielle could get there. Saying Danielle went above and beyond is an understatement! She sent us multiple updates, pictures and videos! She was responsive and flexible to quick changes and even hung out longer than she needed to just to ensure our dog went to the bathroom before she left! She is just amazing and we can’t wait to have her back to watch our sweet boy! We didn’t doubt for one second that our pup was in the best hands!!
