Reliable and loving dog sitter!
Hello! I’m Dani! I have been local to NC for 5 years now and truly value the community I’ve come to know here. A little about my background- I have spent my whole life working with and caring for animals. I was a thoroughbred jockey for 10 years but am enjoying a much more slower pace around horses now. I recently left my full time job as a firefighter/EMT and am now pursuing pet photography, falconry, and overall deepening my knowledge of dogs and horses. I've been walking/boarding dogs on Rover since 2015 and have experience with all ages, sizes and temperaments. I have only owned energetic, sporting breeds so you will never have to worry about your dog being “too much” for me. I know how important your fur babies are to you, so I will treat them as if they were my own, taking any precaution to keep them safe and remain patient if they are being difficult. I have a lot of experience with Great Danes, Newfoundlands, St. Bernards, and German Shepherds so I am confident when it comes to handling large and/or strong breeds. I live a very active lifestyle so if you need your dog to burn some energy I’m your girl (I’m also more than happy to just hang out if your pup thrives as a couch potato). It is very important to me that your animals and home are treated with care and respect, along with being responsible, patient and always keeping a positive attitude. I am more than happy to cater to any needs your dog(s) may have as well as provide as much love and care as possible! Thank you for your consideration!

Safety, trust & environment
First things first, I am extremely cautious when entering/exiting any home to prevent anyone escaping. I also keep a close eye on any pets during my visit/walk to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

Dani was incredible! The details about each visit in addition to the photos of our dogs made us feel very comfortable and excited to have her watch our pups. 10/10 recommend booking!
We hired Danielle short notice as our neighbor was unavailable. Danielle was communicative, polite and friendly. She met our special requests for drop in visits and feeding. Our dogs were totally happy when we arrived home after a full day away. We will definitely book Danielle again and we highly recommend her!!
Amazing dog sitter! My dogs love her so much and she is very attentive to their needs. Couldn’t recommend a better person to watch our dogs.

Danielle watched our cats when we were out of town and was great. She gave great updates and let me know when there was issues with our litter robot and solved the problems. We would definitely rebook with her in the future.
