Behavior and health policy: To ensure the highest level of safety and care, it is extremely important that I am made aware of all behavioral and medical considerations regarding your dog prior to providing services. Full disclosure not only helps me prepare appropriately, but it also allows me to create the safest possible environment for your dog, myself, and others we may encounter during walks or visits. Information that must be shared in advance includes, but is not limited to: • Leash behavior – whether your dog is a strong or persistent puller, has difficulty walking calmly on a leash, or reacts unpredictably to certain stimuli (e.g., bicycles, cars, wildlife, or strangers). • Medical needs – any current medications your dog requires, the correct dosage and administration instructions, and any medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations that I should be aware of while providing care. • Aggression or reactivity – any history of aggression or reactivity toward other dogs, toward people, or toward specific genders or appearances. This includes past incidents, triggers, or situations that are known to cause stress or defensive behavior. By receiving this information ahead of time, I am able to prepare for your dog’s unique needs, take the necessary safety precautions, and make decisions that prioritize well-being and comfort at all times. My goal is to provide responsible, compassionate care tailored to each individual dog. Honest communication is key to ensuring that your dog has a safe, positive, and stress-free experience in my care.

A typical day

Fun activities I like to do is take dogs to the dog park, On fun runs and walks, And play with them with their toys. I have a long stretch of a trail right next to my house where I usually take dogs. During the day, I focus on providing personalized care to each pet based on their unique needs and personalities. I start with a morning routine that includes feeding and a health check to ensure they're feeling their best. For dogs, we go for a walk or play fetch to get them moving and engaged. Cats enjoy interactive play sessions with toys like feather wands and laser pointers. I also set up puzzle feeders to challenge their minds and keep them entertained. Throughout the day, I monitor their behavior and adjust activities to keep them stimulated and happy. In the afternoon, I might spend some quiet time with them, offering gentle brushing or just cuddling. I make sure they have plenty of water and healthy treats to keep them energized. My goal is to provide a balanced mix of physical activity, mental stimulation, and affection to ensure their well-being and happiness.

Pet care experience

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had this special bond with animals. I was always the one neighbors/familt friends would call to walk their dogs, feed their cats, or look after their birds and reptiles. It just came naturally to me, and I loved every minute of it. Those early experiences really sparked my passion for animal care. As I grew older, I wanted to make sure I was the best at what I do, so I took lots of courses in pet health, nutrition, and behavior. I believe every animal is unique and deserves personalized care, so I always try to understand their individual needs and personalities. Because of this, many pet owners trust me with their beloved animals, knowing they’re in good hands. I don’t just stick to the basics either. I’m known for going the extra mile, whether it’s staying up all night with a sick pet, finding the best toys and activities to keep them entertained, or just giving them lots of love and cuddles. My home often becomes a safe haven for animals in need, and I’m committed to making sure every pet I care for lives a happy, healthy life. Taking care of animals isn’t just a job for me; it’s a mission I’m truly passionate about. One of the most rewarding parts of what I do is seeing the transformation in the animals I care for. Whether it’s a rescue dog learning to trust again, a cat recovering from an illness, or a bird that starts to sing joyfully, each success story fuels my dedication. I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of animals, each with its own story and needs, and it’s always a privilege to be part of their journey. Over time, I’ve built a reputation in my community for being reliable, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Pet owners know they can count on me not just for basic care, but for a level of attention and love that makes a real difference. It’s not uncommon for me to receive updates and thank-you notes long after I’ve cared for someone’s pet, which always warms my heart and reaffirms why I do what I do. Looking ahead, I’m excited to continue expanding my knowledge and skills in animal care. There’s always something new to learn, and I’m committed to staying at the forefront of best practices in pet health and well-being. My goal is to keep providing top-notch care and to be a trusted resource for pet owners who want the very best for their furry, feathered, or scaly family members.

Danielle is very sweet. Our kitty was happy and relaxed when we returned home from our trip. Our kitty made a new best friend. Danielle took good care of our house, too.

Danielle did a wonderful job sitting my three pups and house. We have a senior guy, a spunky rescue, and big puppy and Danielle handled it all so well! Our house was clean and all was in order when we got there. Great communication- would recommend her to others! Thanks, Danielle.

This has been my first time using Rover and I was incredibly nervous to leave my dog with a stranger. However, Danielle has been wonderful. She was able to do 3 overnight sits that I booked last minute after the sitter I had initially planned on booking didn’t seem like a good fit for Romeo. I’ve been able to go to work knowing that Romeo is in great hands!
