All breeds, sizes and ages are fine with me as long as they are up to date on vaccines and parasite control. I have no problems with reactive, not dog friendly pets or pets that have behavior or medical issuses. No one is perfect and I don't expect them to be. I can easily accommodate almost anything as long as I know ahead of time so I can make sure everyone is as safe as possible. I ask that all dogs be up to date on vaccinations and parasite treatments because I occasionally have puppies and handle them at work and I want to minimize risks as much as possible.
A typical day
We spend as much time outside as we can. Whether it's playing in the yard or going for walks. We usually end up exploring at a local park.

Pet care experience
I was grew up on a farm and have spent most of my life with animals. I worked at a local vet clinic in high school, trained horses and I have worked in rescue. My family always had at least one dog for as long as I can remember. I got my first Border Collie, Dexter, when I was thirteen. Dex and I did everything together and he's the one who made me fall in love with Border Collies and all things dog related. I have been training, showing and breeding for nearly 23 years. The dogs I have now are involved in disc, agility, dock diving, obedience and herding. I enjoy all animals but dogs and horses will always have a special place in my heart because so much of my life has been spent with them.
