I’ll care of your dog or cat!
I hold caring for your dog and/or cat with the upmost importance. With that said I have many years experience with raising my dogs (German Shepard and Puggle), cats and other animals (sheep, donkeys, rabbits, fish) for most of my life. I pride myself on their excellent health and overall wellness. I practice the Positive Reinforcement philosophy of animal care. In my professional experience, I am on the Board of Directors of a local rescue where I care for dogs and cats and have animal fostering experience. I lead the Dog Enrichment Team and coordinate our rescue dogs outings to dog friendly spots in town, parks, and the beach as well as train volunteers. I will send you written updates throughout my visit through your preferred method of communication with photos as needed. Setting up a meet and greet anytime prior to providing care can be arranged so I may be introduced to your dog or cat and discuss with you your pets needs for my visit. With your preferences in mind, your dog will be in good hands ensuring your pet is happy, healthy and having a safe and fun time when you are away. I look forward to meeting and caring for your pet in the near future! I have volunteered from 2019-present at the local rescue where I am on the Board of Directors and have been trained in an array of pet care skills including animal behavior, administering medication, basic dog training, proper cleaning methods, and enrichment lifestyles for both cats and dogs.

Every once and a while you meet someone in life who has found their calling. Danielle has clearly found her calling when it comes to pet care and pet training. Danielle cared for both my dogs and cats and it was clear from the outset she has a great deal of experience and knowledge with animals. She was friendly, kind and easy to work with and made accommodations to work around our schedule. Given her background with animal behavior, rescue and training I felt her rates were very reasonable. Our pets clearly felt comfortable with Danielle. She practices positive reinforcement not the outdated dominant hierarchy which put my mind at rest. Danielle has provided us invaluable dog behavior observations about our dog with suggested exercises for us to work on. I enthusiastically recommend Danielle for all your pet care needs.
