Your Pup’s New Bestie
Hi! I’m Danielle, and I’m excited to start my Rover journey! I’ve had two very special dogs in my life—a Lhasa Apso and a Yorkie—who were both loved and cared for all the way into their senior years. I loved taking them on walks, playing with them, spending time together, and making sure they always felt safe, happy, and loved. Since losing them, I’m not quite ready to have another dog of my own, but I truly miss having a pup around. Rover feels like the perfect way for me to continue enjoying the companionship of dogs while giving your furry family member the attention and care they deserve. I especially have a soft spot for small dogs and would love to be their walking buddy, playmate, or companion while you’re away. Whether your pup needs a nice walk, some playtime, cuddles, or simply someone to keep them company, I’m happy to help. As someone new to Rover, I’m looking forward to building trust with both you and your pet. I’ll treat your pup like they’re my own and make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while they’re with me. 🐶❤️ I can’t wait to meet your furry friend!

Schedule
I work full-time in the Arlington area with a hybrid schedule, working from home 2–3 days a week. I’m also attending school part-time virtually, which gives me additional flexibility throughout the week. My schedule allows me to provide walks, drop-in visits, and quality time with your pup, especially on my work-from-home days and weekends. I live in the DC area and can be flexible with scheduling depending on your pet’s needs and location. I’m happy to work with you to establish a routine that keeps your pet comfortable, happy, and well cared for! 🐾

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a one-bedroom apartment with a separate den, which provides a comfortable and cozy space for your pet. I can easily crate your dog if needed and will follow your normal routine as closely as possible. For overnight stays, I work nearby and have a hybrid schedule, so I’m able to come home during my lunch break to let your pup out for a potty break and midday walk. I also live in a very walkable area, making it easy to provide regular walks and plenty of opportunities for fresh air and exercise. Whether your pet is staying with me or I’m caring for them in your home, my goal is to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.
A typical day
I’m happy to tailor activities to each dog’s personality and energy level! Whether your pup wants extra cuddles and attention, a nice long walk around the neighborhood, or some playtime, I’m happy to make sure they have a fun and comfortable time. Living in the DC area, there are always new sights, sounds, and smells for dogs to explore. I’d love to take your pup on walks around the neighborhood, explore nearby parks, enjoy some outdoor time, or simply relax together at home. 🐾🐶

I’d also appreciate knowing how your dog does around new people, other dogs, and different environments so I can make their stay as comfortable as possible. I live with my significant other, so please let me know if your dog has any concerns or sensitivities around men or new people. I’m happy to work with you to make sure your pup has a positive and stress-free experience. 🐾
