Danielle was friendly, on time and left my house clean. Unfortunately, my positive feedback ends here. While Danielle was very friendly I am entirely unhappy and concerned with the services Danielle provided. I hired her to watch my home and three GSDs for not even 24 hours, this did not include walks as we told her we had already exercised them. So basically letting them outside and feeding them was all she had to do. I even prepared the food basically she just had to put their food bowls down on the ground. She did not follow very basic but very important instructions regarding a medical condition called Bloat and put my dogs at extreme risk that could’ve ended fatally after explaining to her both in person and in a detailed note about what to do and not to do around feeding times. I told her they can literally die if they don’t rest after eating and she completely disregarded this. I asked her to feed the dogs and immediately put them on their beds for an hour, which is our routine. She proceeds to feed my dogs breakfast, hours late, then lets them outside to the washroom, knowing there are stairs and movement involved so she could leave early. I could see on my cameras that she let them out and left and didn’t even give them an hour to rest. This was basically the only rule for her and she didn’t follow and she confirmed it in a text to myself. Absolutely reckless behaviour for a pet sitter. I did not receive a single update on my dogs at all the entire day/evening and had to text her in the morning wondering why my dogs weren’t let out for over 12 hours, as I could see they hadn’t been on my outdoor cameras. We had to cut our spa trip short and rush home as we were worried and couldn’t reach her. We later found out that she put her phone on airplane mode… while she was supposed to be babysitting my house and dogs, she made herself unreachable. She also set my house alarm off because she didn’t follow my basic instructions resulting in me having to deal with brinks during my spa night. I even left her $100 cash for gas/tip so she was compensated to sit around my house and not even follow my very basic instructions regarding care for my dogs. I would not recommend her and will think twice about going with Rover again as this has tarnished my experience.

Daniela est une ange-gardienne! Elle m'a inspiré confiance dès le premier instant. Je suis partie l'esprit en paix. À mon retour, j'ai trouvé les chiens calmes et heureux. Elle a su gérer l’abondante énergie de nos Samoyèdes / Border Collies. Je recommande ses services et j’espère qu’elle sera disponible lors de notre prochaine escapade.

Danielle took such good care of our dogs while we were away! She took them on adventures everyday and loved them like they were her own ?. Would highly recommend her!

This was my first time using Rover and also my first time leaving my beloved dog with a stranger. Danielle did NOT disappoint and I will 100% be looking to her and her home every time I go away/my dog needs a sitter! She greeted us with the biggest smile, kindness and seemed really comfortable with dogs. She remembered details of my dog that we had discussed the day prior and ask if there were anymore concerns. She stated she of course had water ready and the backyard was ready for playtime. I only left my dog for 3 hours so Danielle even offered me a discount from her normal rate :) My dog seemed like she had a lovely time - she was all wags when I picked her up. 10/10 really great experience!

Danielle is a dependable person, communicates clearly and loves animals and takes great care in the responsibility of taking care of others pets. I highly recommend her as a reliable dog walker, or dog sitter.

Danielle was a great drop-in cat sitter! She took special care of our two 2yo cats, was super attentive to our unique routines and was very communicative about how they were doing which really put us at ease while we were away. Wouldn't think twice about having Danielle for our next sit!
