Danielle can care for
Availability
I can do drop in visits and walks and currently have availability for both weekdays and weekends, but my schedule fills up fast. I will do my best to accommodate last minute requests, and feel free to ask if I can fit you in, even if I'm marked as booked/unavailable. If your dog would like company on their walk, or if my dog would be coming with me, a meet and greet between our pets is required prior.

Safety, trust & environment
I am certified in Dog/Cat CPR and First Aid, and I carry first aid supplies. I am fully insured through Pet Care Insurance. If I'm coming for a walk or a drop-in, I do not require a meet-and-greet prior to our first appointment, but it is preferred. This lets you and your pet(s) get to know me, and you can show me anything special I need to know to give them the best care. IMPORTANT: Please do not give your pet any peanut butter or peanut treats for 24 hours before seeing me, as I have a severe allergy. I will not be able to administer medications using peanut butter or give them peanut butter treats. If we don't already know you and your dog, for walks or visits where my dog will also be present, a meet-and-greet is required first to determine our dogs are comfortable with each other. I strongly prefer greyhounds to be muzzled for initial meetings and (possibly) for off-leash play, out of an abundance of caution.
Information Danielle K. would like to know about your pet
Please mention any special needs, health issues, or behavioral quirks your pet has so I can provide the best experience for them. I want to make sure you are both happy with the experience!
A typical day
For drop-in visits, I will follow your instructions for feeding, etc. I like to try to keep your pet's routine as close to normal if they have one, to minimize any anxiety they might have about you being away. For walks, please let me know if you have a preferred route or no-go areas (i.e. dog is very reactive to squirrels, so don't take them to the park with tons of squirrels).

Pet care experience
Experienced greyhound owner of over 5 years, lifetime dog owner. Previously owned small animals (hamsters, fish) and watched cats. I will care for your pet like family! I have experience with shy and reactive dogs and cats. Happy to care for your small caged pets as well! If they are mobile, I can watch in my home. My dog is unphased by small critters, so they will be safe.

Danielle also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
Reviews

Thank you so much for taking care of our crew!!

Danielle was great! I would highly recommend. My boarding place fell through last minute due to a scheduling mix up. I was able to book Danielle only a few days in advance. My dog, Nala, was so happy when I got home. You can tell she had lots of care and love! I always appreciate when people make connections with my animals. It makes the dress of leaving animals during travel a bit easier.

Danielle is fantastic! She is an excellent communicator and is great with my senior and ailing dog as well as my energetic and rambunctious younger dog. I would highly recommend!
Danielle was very responsive, professional, and very sweet with Rocky. Looking forward to using her again.
