Pet care experience

Grad student with bark-ain rates!

My name is Danielle (or Elle!). I am a Social Psychology PhD student at Loyola University Chicago and just moved to Murfreesboro after a bit of time back home in Minnesota. I have a pretty flexible schedule, which makes Rover the perfect fit for me, but may need to discuss time adjustments for morning/early afternoon requests to make sure it works. I grew up in the Twin Cities and helped care for two stubborn but playful beagles named Lou and Lilly. I now have my own pitbull hound mix, Ivy -As a kid, I also had a cat, tortoise, and several fish. In August 2017, I joined Rover and over the years I have been able to care for many wonderful cats and dogs. I am finally living in a space that will allow us to rescue our own dog, but am grateful for this opportunity to grow in my knowledge and love of animals while providing a service to help pet owners throughout the Boro - as I did for several years in Chicago and most recently in St Paul, MN. Ultimately, my priority is ensuring that your pet feels comfortable and safe in my care. Therefore, I appreciate any and all instructions (even printouts!) to help me provide the best care possible. Please let the know if there are any training commands you are working on, too, as I have experience co-training clients' puppies. Note that I may request a meet-and-greet prior to booking. I may also ask you to provide your general location (i.e., cross-streets) to ensure I am able to meet your needs. I am excited to meet you and your pet(s) - please let me know if you have any questions!

Danielle did a great job walking our high energy dog, Isabella! She made herself available for a meet and greet and asked great questions. We look forward to having her walk Isa again.

Schedule

I am currently looking for work, so I have almost full availability throughout the week. However, I am able to fit drop-ins and walks into my schedule - it helps to know what the general schedule looks like for your pet so that I can try my best to follow their existing routine.

Cats
0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
41 to 100 lbs
Danielle can host up to 2 drop-ins per day
Are there any situations that make your dog anxious? How do you manage potential anxiety or reactivity (i.e., to other people, animals, sounds, locations)? What is your dog's typical routine? Are they alone during the day or night? Do they eat/go out at set times?
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
