Safety, trust & environment

When in a client's home, I do my best to keep to their routine in order to maximize your pet's comfort with someone new, as well as minimizing any potential anxiety triggers. Patience is key when meeting new pets, so I am not shy about spending time just talking to your furry family members like I would talk to a friend.

Information Danielle H. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or added attentions. I am happy to speak with you concerning the quality of care they will receive.

A typical day

A brisk walk to satisfy daily exercise needs, but there is always time made to explore all the smells and sounds around us. I take extra caution when walking senior dogs, allowing them to move as slowly as they need.

Danielle loves my dogs, and they love her. My two cairn terriers get excited when it’s time for their walkies. Mackey just turned two. She has gently worked with him so he now will sit for her to harness him. Danielle walks the dogs separately because Mackey has a lot of energy. My other cairn, Beamish, is a 12 year old senior with a bit of arthritis. His walk is slower so he can sniff to his nose’s content. She intuitively knows what is best for each dog. She lets me know how each walk went. The dogs love to play with her at my home, and I trust her implicitly to care for them if I’m away.
