I work full time for the digital sector of a Colorado based company and primarily work from home, with some occasional need to go into the office. This puts my schedule as pretty open and am able to do morning, afternoon, and evening visits most days. I do need a little bit of flexibility in the timing, as I have to work around meetings, but reach out and we can figure out a schedule that will work best for you and your pet!

About Danielle H.
Communication
Safety, trust & environment
My volunteer experience and pet ownership has put me in contact with dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I'm used to walking a 15lbs terrier all the way up to a 105lbs lab. I'm a dependable worker having worked with my previous company for 8+ years, so you can always count on me to be there when needed and I'm usually able to do late notice visits as well.
Information Danielle H. would like to know about your pet
Anything that would help me make sure my visit is the most successful it can be! I mostly want to know how they are on their walks. Do they pull, are they friendly with other dogs, will they jolt if there’s a squirrel? Nothing I’m not used too, it’s just good to know going in before hand!
A typical day
I love to go exploring on walks! I typically follow the same path for the first couple of visits, just so the dog and I are both comfortable. Then afterwards I love to try different routes to see where it takes us. I’ll walk at whatever pace your dog needs; some walks we’ll cover only .5 miles whereas others we might walk up to 2 miles! For drop-ins, I typically make sure to get all my stuff done when I first come in (I.e filling food & water bowls, letting our pups, cleaning liter boxes, etc). After we’ve gotten all the technicalities out of the way I’ll spend the rest of the time with your pet, whether that’s a consistent game of fetch for 20 mins or pets on the couch.

Reliable and flexible pet lover!
Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Danielle and I'm a pet-mom to a 6 year old heeler, a 3 year old bull-dog, a 12 year old fancy feast cat, and a hedgehog. I’ve been with Rover for over 5 years now and have loved taking care of people's pets while they are away!
Reviews

Danielle is amazing! She is responsive, attentive and reliable. We felt reassured and comforted knowing Danielle was checking in on our pet while we were away. She provided detailed updates, with plenty of pictures. If you are in the Golden area, Danielle is the way to go!

Danielle was great with my shy cat and made me feel at ease when I was away on a trip. My cat warmed up to Danielle quickly and seemed to have a great time playing during the visits!

Always appreciate Danielle’s detailed report cards, photos, and responsiveness! ☺️

Amazing as always! :-)
