I work full time but work from home most Mondays or Fridays at the moment. When I have a dog they come everywhere with me, and only in rare occurrences would we leave them at home alone and only for short periods. My partner Rob and I share pet care responsibilities so we can easily time manage between us.

The main reason we dog sit is a love of dogs and an inability to have our own at the moment. Dogs who come here are treated like our own - they’re welcome on the furniture (as long as that’s fine with you!) and sleep wherever they’re most comfortable, so are welcome in the bed if they want. As I live in a flat I l always take dogs out for at least two walks a day (as well as multiple potty breaks) to make sure we both get plenty of exercise. On a weekend I love to get out for long country walks, so having a doggie friend is just another reason to get out there!

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs from a young age and during university had a regular (a few days almost every week) dog/cat sitting gig that would go on to last 5 years. Those animals became like my own and if I hadn’t moved to the UK I don’t think I would have ever stopped seeing them! I also worked at a doggy day care/boarding facility for a summer and learned a lot about training and dog care. It was the best job - it was a shame that my studies conflicted in the end.

Danielle looked after my husky Jessie for the day and took great care of her. I got pictures throughout the day and updates on how Jessie was doing. Danielle and her partner seem really lovely and I’m glad my dog had a lovely time on her mini holiday! 10/10 would book again
Danielle was so flexible. She kept me up to date about Bertie the whole day which really set my mind at ease. You could tell she really likes him. I will definitely use again when in Leeds 😊😊
Danielle was absolutely wonderful taking care of Charlie for the day. It was clear from the start how caring and attentive she (and Rob!) were. Charlie had such a great time and came back happy and relaxed, which says it all. We really appreciated all the photos and updates throughout the day, it was so reassuring to see how well Charlie was doing and how much fun she was having. It made a big difference and gave us complete peace of mind. Charlie would love to stay over again in the future! Thank you so much, Danielle and Rob, for taking such great care of her.
Danielle was brilliant with Vera. I was worried about Vera's separation anxiety, but she settled in right away. Danielle made her feel comfortable and safe. Excellent communication, and I got frequent updates. We'd definitely leave Vera with Danielle again
