Pets are allowed in our home as long as they get along well with other pets and children. I do have an in-ground fence and collars that I can use to teach your pet to stay in our yard. I also have two nice size kennels that give dogs plenty of room to wander inside and outside the kennel walls.

Information Danielle G. would like to know about your pet

I do find it important to know if your dog has any allergies, handicaps, disabilities, fears, or anxiety issues before arriving at my home. Also, does your dog get along with other dogs and cats? Are they good with children? Are they good with men? How well does your dog travel? These are things that can be a struggle for some, however it can also be worked around and overcome due to the space we have available for boarding. Knowing what to expect before your dog arrives is key to making sure they are happy and comfortable and my pets are prepared for the arrival of an unfamiliar dog or cat.

A typical day

My home has plenty of room for the dogs to run in the yard and enjoy playing fetch, tag, and teaching them how to work my agility course that I set up on occasion. I also enjoy taking dogs to the lake to go swimming or to the dog park to enjoy time with other dogs and people; of course this would depend on your dogs personality and socialization.

Pet care experience

I have been raising and caring for a variety of animals for over 25 years! Having experience with all kinds of animals, I know the importance of meeting the needs of each animal and giving it the love and care it deserves and desires. I have several families that reach out to me when they are planning a trip so that I can care for their pets while they are away. I understand the importance of maintaining the pet owners routine, commands, and affection with their pets to help reduce anxiety and stress while they are away. My goal is to love their pets as if they are my own. I have cared for our own dogs as seniors and have experience with failing body functions and know how to administer medications and assist the animal with getting up and moving around. I also have much experience with puppies since I breed Australian Shepherds and care for the puppies from the time they are born until they are at an appropriate age and health standard to go to their new families. I am so excited to meet many other pet families in our area and love on your pet so you can feel comfortable and at peace any time you need to travel and your pet has to stay behind. It’s hard enough to say good-bye, so having peace of mind on how they will be cared for while you are away can make a good trip a GREAT one!!

Danielle provided excellent care for my puppy over a 2-day stay. She was reliable and punctual, picking him up on schedule and having him ready when I returned early from my trip. The thoughtful extras really stood out, including giving him a bath while he was in her care. My puppy was clearly well-cared for during his time with her. He came home happy and exhausted, which speaks volumes about the level of engagement and activity she provided. I'd absolutely trust her with my dog again and wouldn't hesitate to book her for future pet care needs.

Provided excellent care for our two cats and 8 month old ball of energy English Cream Retriever! Our pup has had some nausea issues while traveling and Danielle tackled that head on by providing a weighted vest and Tucker did not get sick once while riding with them all week! Highly recommend!

Danielle has been pet sitting for us for many years, taking care of cats, llamas and poultry. She's a super busy lady but always manages to get things done, taking care to give meds and some much needed attention.

Danielle has been my neighbor for the past four years. She is a wonderful, loving and caring person, with many animals herself. She and her children have taken care of my dogs and chickens on occasion over the years, and I am truly grateful.
