I work from home and really enjoy my area of the world, so I tend to be a homebody during the week. I go for daily beach walks and enjoy swimming when it's warm enough. My neighborhood is great for walking, too. I love to get out and hike or explore on the weekends, but am also happy with projects around the house. High energy pups and couch potatoes are both welcome.

I have a 4 foot fenced in yard and plenty of couch space. It's important to do what I can to help your pet be comfortable in a new environment, so I try to keep to their schedule as much as possible. I do have a large crate and room for you to bring your own if that works better. The ticks are out in force so please make sure your dog is on preventive. I cannot accept dogs with bite history or food/toy aggression.

I do live in a neighborhood with many pets and lots of wildlife, so I do need to understand how your dog behaves around other animals, especially dogs. There is a lot to sniff around here, so understanding if your dog is a runner (can I just let them outside in the yard?) is important, as well as any behavioral tendencies or medications. I like to know the schedule as well so that I can do my best to keep them consistent.
A typical day
I typically go for a beach walk around sunrise and meet up with my neighbors and their dogs. I also like to get out and about in the afternoon or evening. I have a fenced in yard so there is room for free play for dogs that are respectful of 4ft fences. Depending on the time of year, I also love to get out to hike and explore new places, and a few times a year I go camping.

Pet care experience
I've been responsible for taking care of pets ever since I can remember- cats and dogs of all ages and temperaments. However, for the past few years I've been traveling a lot and so do not have any pets currently. Throughout the years, I've been a Vet Tech and adopted and fostered puppies through hospice dogs and several cats, and have had extremely friendly and reactive dogs. I'm willing to meet your pet where they are.

Danielle took so much care with my pup- moving at her slow pace and letting her explore the new neighborhood. She was responsive and sent great pictures every day. Will definitely rebook!
Danielle was fantastic! She suggested meeting up before our trip so that we could meet and Pretzel could get familiar with her house, which I really appreciated. She was super communicative while we were away and sent lots of photos and videos. Our dog was all smiles in every picture; I could tell they were having a blast together. 10/10 would recommend Danielle and I absolutely plan on contacting her again the next time we go away.
Our beautiful Lady knew right away that she was in good hands with Danielle. Her tail was wagging the moment she met her! We are so grateful for her kind and gentle care in her dog friendly, peaceful home, along with much appreciated photos and updates.
