I work from home and really enjoy my area of the world, so I tend to be a homebody during the week. I go for daily beach walks and enjoy swimming when it's warm enough. My neighborhood is great for walking, too. I love to get out and hike or explore on the weekends, but am also happy with projects around the house. High energy pups and couch potatoes are both welcome.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a 4 foot fenced in yard and plenty of couch space. It's important to do what I can to help your pet be comfortable in a new environment, so I try to keep to their schedule as much as possible. I do have a large crate and room for you to bring your own if that works better. The ticks are out in force so please make sure your dog is on preventive. I cannot accept dogs with bite history or food/toy aggression.

Information Danielle G. would like to know about your pet
I do live in a neighborhood with many pets and lots of wildlife, so I do need to understand how your dog behaves around other animals, especially dogs. There is a lot to sniff around here, so understanding if your dog is a runner (can I just let them outside in the yard?) is important, as well as any behavioral tendencies or medications. I like to know the schedule as well so that I can do my best to keep them consistent.
A typical day
I typically go for a beach walk around sunrise and meet up with my neighbors and their dogs. I also like to get out and about in the afternoon or evening. I have a fenced in yard so there is room for free play for dogs that are respectful of 4ft fences. Depending on the time of year, I also love to get out to hike and explore new places, and a few times a year I go camping.

Pet care experience
I've been responsible for taking care of pets ever since I can remember- cats and dogs of all ages and temperaments. However, for the past few years I've been traveling a lot and so do not have any pets currently. Throughout the years, I've been a Vet Tech and adopted and fostered puppies through hospice dogs and several cats, and have had extremely friendly and reactive dogs. I'm willing to meet your pet where they are.

Reviews

Our dog had an amazing time with Danielle and we couldn’t be more pleased. Danielle is communicative, attentive, and incredibly accommodating to our dog, who requires a bit more patience and understanding than most. It’s a huge relief knowing our dog is in such good hands when we’re busy. We highly recommend Danielle and will definitely book with her again.

I am so thankful that my dog got to hang out with Danielle over the holiday weekend. He is a ball of energy sometimes but she was up to the task. Danielle was communicative and easy to work with. I would not hesitate to work with her again.

Danielle was amazing! We did a meet & greet, where I saw how comfortable my dog was with her. This made me comfortable as well. She provided updates and photos everyday. I appreciate this gesture as she knew how much I would miss him.
