As a teacher, during the school year I will be unavailable for noontime check ins, but I am happy to do early mornings, most afternoons after 4 pm, and weekends. I have my own puppy now, so I no longer will be accepting house sitting requests for more than 2-3 days, but long weekends or a few days in the middle of the week can be worked out!

I always arrange a meet and greet before booking any walks, check ins, or stays, so that I know what the pets' needs and the owners' expectations are. I am careful to ask about leash behaviors, interactions with other dogs if we walk outside, and what commands are used/known. Also, even though this service targets dog owners, I am more than happy to check in on cats, and some other small pets upon request!

Before sitting for a dog, I would like to know about any allergies or problems interacting with other dogs. I would also like to know about preferred toys and activities so we can have the most fun possible together!
A typical day
I would be happy to take your dog on a walk wherever is near you, whether that is just around the neighborhood or to a park. We will play fetch and maybe practice some tricks if they know them. Most of all, I will give lots of love and attention.

Pet care experience
I have been on rover for ~10 years now, and I love being able to help owners feel comfortable their pets are taken care of while they’re gone. I now have a puppy myself, so I really value meeting beforehand and making sure I’m a good fit! I want to make sure they can have an experience as close to what you’d give them if you were home.
