Availability

I am available 24/7/365. I'm usually able to accommodate short notice or same day requests for services and try to accept all booking requests I receive. I understand how things come up last minute and our pets can't always come along so that's why I offer services through Rover. I like being able to make your life as a pet owner a little easier and help ease any stress pet parents feel when its time to leave to take care of "people things". I know the last thing you want is to worry about your pets being safe and happy when your gone and have other things going on. Pet parents can contact me anytime during a booking - day or night, for updates and/or pictures. I structure communication based on owner preferences, as to not overwhelm you nor leave you feeling any stress. Repeat clients always take first priority with me because the animals I've spent a lot of time are very important to me and I value the relationships I build with them. But more than that, I sincerely appreciate what it means when pet parents trust me enough to welcome me back into their homes and i know they count on me to be there when thy need someone they trust. I accept new clients as long as I have the availability and I take every opportunity to meet new friends. My ultimate goal is to make your pet feel comfortable and to make you feel confident that your babies are safe and happy when they're with me so feel free to ask anything I don't cover here.

Please provide any information regarding special needs your pet has, accommodations that you'd like to request, past or present behavioral issues, etc. - and of course feeding and medication instructions as well as potty break and excercise requirements.

A typical day

During a boarding stay, dogs will have free range to go in and out of the doggie door to the fenced in backyard. We have an acre for them to explore. (Cats, not so much - if your cat is an indoor cat, they will stay indoors.) I will do my best to accommodate pets that don't play well with others and need their own separate space but they would still get frequent potty breaks/outdoor time. I do occasionally take clients to walk nearby trails or field trip to a local dog park (if parents allow) for a change of scenery and socialization - especially Walk-only and Housesitting clients. I have experience handling and correcting owner/food/toy/leash aggression. I fully understand the differences in rough play and behavior that escalates into physical altercations as well as what to do to ensure that everyone remains safe if that was to occur. Although it has never happened with any of my Rover clients, I have experience handling those types of situations, even in large group settings.

Pet care experience

I've been a Petsitter with Rover since October of 2020 and am just returning from pregnacy leave for my second child, who just turned 6 months old!! In addition to in-home care, I also have experience working in a corporate boarding facility and Ive previously fostered dogs/puppies throughout all stages of adoption. I've owned or cared for almost every type of domesticated animal imaginable - dogs of all ages and sizes, cats, hamsters, lizards, snakes (iguanas, bearded dragons, geckos, veiled chameleons), even a ferret and racoon. I have experience with weaning/potty-training, elderly care and special needs (diabetes, incontenence, vision or hearing impaired, etc.) Part of the fun is getting to spend time with all kinds of different animals from Great Danes and Cane Corsos to diabetic cats to a nursing mom and babies. I love what I do and that's why I do it. I enjoy leaning to understanding each individuals personality. I'd love the opportunity to meet and spend time with your babies, furry or not!

My 5 month old puppy was cared for by Danielle for the first time. It went very well. She kept in contact with me. It was a good experience. I will use her again for sitting needs.

Danielle was awesome!! My pup got excited when we pulled up the second day of his 3 day doggy day care stay while I was in town for work, so I know she’s doing it right!
