Hello! My name is Danielle and there's really no other way to say this-dogs are my favourite part of life! I’ve just moved to Pickering and am looking to build up my Doggie Roster. Please feel free to reach out for a chat or meet and greet! I was lucky enough to have 3 Golden Retrievers growing up and 1 Old English Bulldog in my life, but currently have an empty nest. Nothing in the world makes me happier than dogs and I promise to go above and beyond in every way for your beloved family member<3 I’ve dog sat all of my friend’s dogs (just not through the app) for years, walked lots of neighbours dogs, done drop in visits to dogs who are alone for most of the day. Something unique about my dog boarding is that your dog will be the ONLY one in my home. I only take multiple dogs if they are from the same family or already know each other. This means that all of the attention will be on your baby and they’ll get the VIP service! Most other sitters either have their own dog, or accept multiple bookings at the same time! I am doing this full time. I do not have a remote job, so I am doting on your dog every minute of the day 🥰 I have lots of games and activities to keep your pup stimulated and go on multiple walks a day as well as ample playtime in my backyard. All dogs are allowed on my big comfy couch, and they can sleep in our bed if that is what makes them comfortable. I have a huge window where dogs love to sit and watch the action happen all day. I understand dogs and their needs. I’m detail oriented, loving, and thoughtful and would be honoured to watch your dogs if you give me the chance 😊 I have a large fenced backyard, but I always go outside with them to be extra safe. We live on the first floor of a bungalow and there are four steps at the front door and going down from the deck (noted for senior pups). I live two minutes away from an off leash dog park. I only go if it is empty, as it is hard to trust that everyone else’s dogs are well behaved. I also have lots of trails nearby and am a 15 minute walk down to the water! I’m also quite the photographer and have had pet parents print and frame the pictures I’ve taken of their pups! Expect some beautiful pictures and videos when I give updates which are very regularly. Please note that I live with my husband as some dogs are not comfortable with men. He was a golden retriever in a past life and dogs who are normally scared of men adore him😆

We were so glad to rebook Bentley’s care with Danielle! Danielle looked after Bentley for a few days during the heat wave and was very attentive to his comfort and needs: they got up early for cooler walks, made sure he stayed hydrated, and gave him indoor enrichment when it was too hot to walk. She provided regular updates with photos. We look forward to Bentley staying with Danielle again.
Danielle went above and beyond! We were able to fully enjoy our day at Thermea Spa knowing that our boy Max was in good hands with Danielle.
Danielle was great at updating us and sending lots of photos! Gus had a great time and I could tell he was well taken care of!
Danielle is so amazing. My dog Daisy is a handful with her medication and anxiety and Danielle was so attentive and caring with her. Even when Daisy had anxiety in the middle of the night, Danielle was right there to comfort her. She paid close attention to her moods and needs and it made for the best boarding experience Daisy has ever had. Thank you so much, Danielle!

Reached out to Danielle for a last minute booking and she was thankfully responsive right out of the gate. Freya (and I) immediately felt comfortable upon meeting Danielle. Danielle kept me up to date on Freya settling in, sending photos and videos, along with following her routine and schedule. Highly recommend! Thank you again Danielle!

Schedule
I am doing this full-time, so I am always at home. My availability is currently wide open, even on the weekends. Message me to discuss and I will confirm immediately!

Safety, trust & environment
I am physically fit and have years of experience taking care of a wide variety of dogs. I never have my guard down and understand how dogs think and act to see things ahead of time. I always err on the side of caution.
A typical day
Since I am always at home, I usually take the dog out every two hours either in the backyard or for a quick walk. My goal is to tire out your pup so that they have an amazing sleep at night! I like to play games that enrich their minds, like hiding toys/treats and teaching them how to find it, teaching them new tricks, and utilizing enrichment toys. I live around ample lush green parks and right by the water in a very quiet area. Depending on the dog’s physical needs, I love to take long, slow walks so that they can get their sniffs in, which is like them scrolling social media/reading the news 😆
