Calm, caring, home away from home
*Please note that before I confirm any booking I ask to have a meet and greet at my house, this is an opportunity for your dog to familiarise themselves with the environment and for all of us to meet to see if we will be a good fit. I also take on two dogs max per sitting so you’re dog would need to be good with other dogs. I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and caring for animals has always come very naturally to me. I previously had my own beloved cat, Pablo, who taught me so much about companionship, patience and the unique personalities animals have. Alongside my experience with dogs and cats, I’ve also worked as an equine therapy co-facilitator, supporting therapeutic work involving horses and people. This gave me a strong understanding of animal behaviour, nervous systems, emotional attunement and creating calm, safe environments, something I bring into the way I care for dogs too. I know how important it is to feel your dog is genuinely cared for whilst you’re away, so I aim to create a relaxed, loving home away from home experience where dogs feel secure, comfortable and included in daily life. I’m naturally calm, patient, attentive and playful and I take time to get to know each dog’s individual needs, routines and personality. I also regularly care for friends’ dogs, so I’m very used to different personalities, routines and needs and I genuinely love having dogs around the home and out on walks. I have a secure garden for dogs to relax and play in, and I’m also very close to both the beach and forest walks, so there are plenty of opportunities for calm nature walks, exploration and outdoor time during their stay. Whether your dog loves adventures, companionship, playtime or cuddles on the sofa, I’ll make sure they feel safe, settled and cared for. I’m also happy to send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your dog is happy and in good hands. I work Monday-Wednesday in an office but will do walks before and after work.

Exceptional. She took so much time and care to get to know each of the dogs, their personalities, routines and all their little quirks. She kept everything consistent, from their feeding to their daily routine, which really helped them settle when they were at their most anxious. They had the most adventurous walks, and we were kept updated throughout with loads of photos and videos, which meant so much to us. Honestly, I think the dogs had as much of a holiday as we did! It let us completely relax and enjoy our own trip, knowing they were in such good hands. She’s an absolute breath of fresh air. If the dogs could talk, I’m pretty sure they’d have asked me to leave them there! 😂 Alongside our own holiday album, we’ve ended up with a holiday album for the dogs too 😁.

Schedule
I work in an office Monday-Wednesday so will do walks before & after work. I work from home on Thursdays and Fridays with lots of flexibility throughout the day for walks, playtime and cuddles. I’m also available over the weekends for boarding.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a secure fenced garden where dogs can safely relax, play and enjoy outdoor time. I only take a small number of dogs at once so I can give each dog plenty of attention, care and supervision throughout their stay. I understand that every dog has different needs, routines and comfort levels, so I take time to help them settle in gently and feel safe in my home. I’m calm, patient and attentive, and I always prioritise your dog’s wellbeing and emotional comfort. I live close to the beach and forest walks, providing plenty of opportunities for safe, enriching walks in nature. I’m also happy to follow your dog’s usual routines, feeding schedules and any special care instructions to help them feel as settled as possible whilst you’re away
A typical day
There’s lots of nature around me where your dog can explore new smells and sounds. There’s also plenty of parks to run and play as well as my back garden.
