I naturally build pet care into my day. I enjoy getting outside for walks, keeping dogs active, and maintaining their normal routines as closely as possible. I know consistency helps dogs feel comfortable, so I do my best to keep things familiar while you’re away.

Moose is a gentle, well-socialized boxer who loves people and other dogs, but I know not every dog enjoys having a canine buddy. My priority is creating the environment that will help your pet feel the most relaxed and cared for (whether in my home or yours). I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, and am open to discussing additional communication preferences if needed.

Pet care experience

I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I was lucky enough to grow up alongside my sweet beagle, Sparky, and we shared an incredible 16 years together. Later, I spent eight wonderful years with my first boxer, Sophia, and today I’m a proud boxer mom to my 7-year-young pup, Moose. In addition to raising my own dogs, I’ve had the privilege of caring for many dogs over the years, each with their own personalities, routines, and needs. I genuinely enjoy making every pup feel safe, loved, and comfortable. As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with a member of your family and I’ll do everything I can to give you peace of mind while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet you and your pup!

Danielle put me and my anxious dog Josey at ease right away when we met her and her dog Moose. It is clear that Danielle loves dogs and is a skilled communicator with them. Josey enjoyed her weekend stay very much. Danielle sent updates and photos each day, and the drop off and pickup arrangements were easy. She is a great find!

We have a very high energy ACD mix and Danielle was amazing with him!! He can be a bit standoffish at first but he quickly took on Danielle (and her dog Moose) as part of his pack. She sent tons of pictures and updates and was incredibly responsive both to our messages and to Griggs’ needs. She went above and beyond to make our dog comfortable and cater to our needs. It’s tough to find a good sitter and we will definitely be reaching out to Danielle again in the future. Also, her dog Moose is so sweet and we were impressed with how he handled and interacted with our rambunctious pup.
