Safety, trust & environment
Pets need safety, physical exercise and mental engagement. I make sure your pets has all three with gentle introductions, finding out your pets motivations, making sure they’re well fed and watered, getting lots of play and cuddle time, and exercise. I love using tools like snuffle mats, games like “find the treat” and toys to make sure pets get all the stimulation they need. Whenever possible we’ll go for walks in the woods or at a park daily. When not possible, I make sure to find indoor stairs or hallways that are good for running up and down. A tired pet is a happy pet! I have not taken a dog first aid class, but I have saved a dog that was choking on a bone before.

Danielle communicated the whole time she was with our 2 pups for the week. We got photos and messages of 2 happy boys! They bonded with her pretty quickly too-the first night! We, and the pups look forward to having Danielle again. This was our first time using Rover. Thank you for the peace of mind!

They took the time to get to know my pet’s routine, quirks, and needs, which immediately put me at ease. Throughout the stay, I received regular updates, photos, and videos that showed just how much love and attention my pet was getting. It was clear that Danielle treated them like family. When my husband came home, my boys were happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for—which speaks volumes. The extra touches like tidying up water bowls, talking to my chickens and birds, really showed how much they go above and beyond. This was our second time having Danielle stay and watch our pets and she did a great job. She sent updates each day and we could tell our dog and cat were very comfortable and happy. It was pretty hot some days and she went above and beyond to make sure our lab stayed cool with frozen treats. She even picked the veggies from our garden and left a recipe for us! Overall our home and pets were well taken care of.
I’ve used Danielle several times and would recommend her to anyone. She spends a lot of time with my dog/at my house, provides frequent updates, and leaves the house in equal or better shape then when I left it. She follows all instructions related to medicines and anything else. I know my dog is in good hands.
Danielle was amazing! Our pets didn’t want us to come home! We have a doggy who needs extra attention and Danielle was so good with her. She gave amazing updates along the trip. Highly recommend!
