I’ve always been an animal lover and know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets! I spent five wonderful years caring for my own rescue, Ares, a sweet German Shepherd/Husky mix who taught me plenty about caring for (and loving!) a big, energetic dog. I also regularly spend time with and help care for my best friends’ two small dogs and my brother’s Labradoodle, so I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I’ve frequently dog-sat for friends and family and am happy to help with walks, playtime, meals, cuddles, and keeping your pet comfortable in their normal routine while you’re away. I’m also a fish owner and have lots of love for our scaly friends, too! Above all, I’m someone who genuinely loves animals and will treat your pets with the same patience, affection, and attention I’d want for my own. 🐾

I know how much trust it takes to leave both your pet and your home in someone else’s care, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’ll always follow your pet’s usual routine and any care instructions you provide, including feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any house rules or safety precautions. I also pay close attention to each pet’s personality, comfort level, and body language rather than assuming every animal wants the same kind of interaction. While I’m in your home, I’ll treat your space with the same care and respect I’d want someone to show mine. Most importantly, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I’ll happily keep you updated with photos and messages so you know how they’re doing! 🐾

Danielle is the best! She cared for my dog Lily, a 16-year-old Australian Shepherd/Collie who passed away last year. Lily was my heart, and as she got older, she had more senior-dog needs. I always trusted Danielle to care for her expertly, lovingly and patiently, which meant so much to me. Danielle has also cared for the two dogs my sister and I share: Dewey, a 4-year-old poodle mix, and Millie, an 8-year-old rat terrier. She’s known Dewey since he was still a puppy and was great at handling all that puppy energy. Millie can be skittish and has some extra needs because she doesn’t have any teeth, and Danielle has always been wonderful and patient with her, too. Her love for animals goes beyond just the pets she knows. We once found a lost husky in our neighborhood who was never claimed by his owners. Danielle took him in and cared for him until he could find a new home. Even after he was adopted, she kept in touch with his new owners to make sure he was doing well. I think that says a lot about how genuinely she cares about the animals that come into her life. All three of our dogs have absolutely loved Danielle. They’re happy cuddling with her, going on walks, staying with her at our house or spending time with her at her apartment. She genuinely loves animals and takes the time to understand each pet’s personality and individual needs. I trust her completely and would recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible, loving and experienced pet caregiver.

Schedule
I currently have a very flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of availability for pet care throughout the week! I’m available on both weekdays and weekends and can accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening visits. Having flexibility in my day also means I can give your pets plenty of attention without needing to rush through our time together. I’m happy to work with your pet’s usual routine whenever possible so they can stay comfortable and happy.
