A typical day
I understand how important it is to feel confident that your dog will be safe, happy, and cared for just like they are at home. My fully fenced backyard provides a secure space for supervised play, so you never have to worry about them wandering. Just beyond the back gate is a quiet walking trail that leads to multiple scenic paths, perfect for calm, relaxing walks at your dog’s pace. I’ll stick closely to their normal routine, provide gentle attention, and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can see they’re comfortable, content, and in good hands every step of the way.

Hi, I’m Danielle—your dog’s next best friend! 🐶 I was raised surrounded by dogs and cats, and over the years my family grew to include horses, chickens, goats, bunnies, and of course many more dogs and cats. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and that lifelong experience has given me the joy of loving animals while understanding their needs, personalities, and routines. I don’t currently own a dog—my last pup, who was by my side for 15 wonderful years, passed. I’m now in an in-between stage, and caring for dogs through Rover is a way for me to continue sharing the love, attention, and joy I’ve always had with animals. I’ve been caring for dogs for years—from playful puppies learning the ropes to wise senior pups who enjoy slow strolls and cozy naps. I’m experienced with training basics, administering medication, and providing extra comfort to anxious or special-needs dogs. My goal is to keep your furry loved one happy, healthy, and safe while you’re away—just as you would. I know leaving your dog is a big decision, which is why I provide regular updates, photos, and fun “pup-date” videos. You’ll always have peace of mind knowing your pup is safe, loved, and enjoying their own mini-vacation while you’re gone.

I was incredibly lucky to book Danielle for dog sitting and walking while I was away working as a seasonal wildland firefighter. She took amazing care of both my senior labrador, who has a sensitive diet and needs daily medication, and my energetic two year old border collie mix. Danielle went above and beyond, sending updates and photos, and making sure both dogs were happy, healthy, and well cared for. She is great with animals and someone I completely trust in my home and with my dogs. Will book again!
I have had Danielle watch my dogs several times from a day to a week. She is a loving, responsible, patient, and compassionate person. My dogs really loved being with her each time. She gave them so much love and spoiled them so much, I don’t think they missed me. I will definitely use Danielle again when in her area. It is wonderful to be able to leave me fur babies knowing that they are in loving hands.
There is always a concern about leaving your dogs with other people for a weekend, especially two high energy dogs who also have a special diet. Danielle displayed diligence and incredible dedication when she has taken care of my two shepherds. She was very attentive with the different instructions of how to care for them, and was sure to keep me up to date on the adventures that her and my fur babies were having. With runs, hikes, and swims, my two shepherds are always very happy, and very tired, after staying with Danielle. She is without a doubt the best dog sitter that I have found!
Danielle is amazing with dogs. She has watched all my dogs for me several times over the years. When we got married she watched our three pups for 3 days and nights and took care of their complicated medical needs each. I can not recommend her more highly. If you are looking for someone who will care for your baby like you would she is your girl.
